On RT today ...USA scientist ... saying this bio science is doable ...Been tryed on mice etc ...Within 1 week ... huge resultsSees it has key to combating future viruses ....He came out with something last year ... was called dilusional ..Proved them all wrong !!

The point is that the RNS has not done anything positive for the share price - and in fairness it was no doubt only his basic allowance through the share placing but it would be good if the director was now seen to purchase a decent amount in the market, now the news is out of the way.

As I said, if it's fine to buy £300 worth then it's fine to buy £30k worth. There's no threshold £ amount for insider dealing is there? Dealing is dealing.

Knowing there is news coming??? I would doubt it, can you imagine the court cases when directors use insider knowledge to profit, while investors are left in the dark, not a fair system... although it does go on with some corrupt directors......I would like the same information so I could buy like a corrupt director if that is the case...

Look at it this way, if he purchased 10 million shares and moved the price up to 20p other investors would be shouting what a great buy and shows confidence in the company going forward, but then when the RNS that shoves the Sp over £2 arrives a week later, those same investors would be crying fraud...so which is it to be???

There are other ways of buying shares though, either excess shares in the open offer, or there is this thing called the stock market where you can buy them between 8-4:30 every week day.

Just doing a bit of research and looking through the thread as it caught my eye when I saw such a show of confidence from an insider that certainly knows how to get the market to give its view on such a trivial purchase.

I will keep it on my watch list but I note some very information posts on the thread.
