A reminder..
Key products, Lithium and tin both at near all time highs.
Right location, heart of European car manufacturing.
Excellent infrastructure, eg transport, power, water etc.
Easy access to skilled workforce,
No geopolitical issues.
Existing mine so known environmental status.
Low CO2 impact due to minimal shipping.

Here's another one.. Sigma Lithium signs 6 year take or pay offtake agreement with LG for lithium concentrate. All the big battery makers and OEMs are realising they need to secure supply otherwise...

The unfortunate reality is that @VWGroup hasn't managed their #lithium strategy in a manner that will enable faster speed to market. The middle of the decade will find VW delaying EV orders and wondering "where the lithium is"hTTps://twitter.com/globallithium/status/1444364350957961231?s=21

AVZ up strongly to all time high on funding for Manono lithium project in DRC. Funding includes CATL. Hopefully not much longer before Cinovec offtake and funding.

Thematica funds must be tempted to add at these levels. They are massive lithium bulls and experts in this space

So Tesla battery gigafactory Berlin looks like going ahead with German govt support. Given Tesla forward thinking surely they must be talking to EMH re Cinovec lithium supply. VW v Tesla methinks

All gone a bit quiet here. Offtake deal taking longer than expected but still think VW have to win in their backyard

Maybe my timing wasn’t brilliant, but still believe that there is real value here. Price of lithium has been rising from between 1 and 2% daily for a while now.

yet to catch up, possibly off the radar as not so well known as EMH. These two look to be the best two Lithium prospects on the LSE.

I agree Scrutable, governments have waited but the last 2-3 years have been an urgent wake up call. There’s been severe climate events in so many countries and states, Germany, Belgium, China, Turkey, Greece, California especially. We so far in the UK have escaped the worst. Multiple small steps are needed, it’s a complex challenge. Especially home heating, transportation, farming, but also carbon capture eg reforestation, peat bogs etc. I think there has to be a big move towards public transport and renewable energy. Our timeline now is short, global warming has been important news for at least 30 years, and only small measures have been taken.
EMH and ZNWD should benefit though, Germany and the Czech Republic have had severe weather this summer!

World governments in the capitalist world have woffled for 30 years on the need to reduce carbon, without actually doing very much about it. This includes prevaricating on seriously acting to introduce the hydrogen economy as the best way to store surplus energy from natural sources, and use it for universal power. They have left it to the next generation of humanity to carry the burden.
That is, I believe to be, generally recognised.

However the explosion of forest wild fires right now at a much more frightening level than last year, has suddenly introduced Absolute Terror Ahead. The progression of lethal floods and fires suggests that the the path to world disaster is no longer linear - but exponential, and we are out of time.

The battery industry has seen an opportunity to steal market share ahead of the half hearted dabble with hydrogen and is rushing out dozens of new Giga-factories to satisfy the need for EVs, Grid Balancing, and Off-Grid stationary power for 5g etc.

Wall Street is now suddenly taking account of a coming shortfall in lithium supplies a year or two ahead, and there are signs of a scramble beginning to secure supplies well in advance of need - for existence threatening FOMO.

There is no actual shortage of Li resources but most future suppliers have not been moving fast enough - hence Morgan Stanley's call yesterday to Buy Lithium shares anywhere and share prices are already moving up amongst the 20 or so possible suppliers. EMH's Cinovec source is well known, cheap to mine, and particularly well placed

There was an update on a research note but also a bit of a catch-up to other lithium risers. Many lithium sticks were up 15% or so last night. Still a long way to go for EMH

Yes hitting all time highs in Oz ... any particular reason or just lithium demand ?
