Jam...

Auroch just announced commencement of drilling, Tisová Co Au Cu Project, Czech Republic.

It's only a couple of hundred kms SW of CINOVEC, on the border with Germany, but the target is cobalt and copper rather than lithium.

This really should be over 80p considering its assets.....only 130m share in issue, another 30 mill to cover costs a little pocket money and DFS should be no problem.....obs they feel there is not the appetite just yet? I so what are they waiting for?

They're on a bridging loan until negotiations for funding can be completed, so don't think they have £10m in hand currently

I believe they have the cash for a DFS......Just wish they would crack on.....it feels to me they want to farm in a partner or sell out completely to a major......just my gut feeling.

It is part of the cycle to reach production The DFS will take a year from other miners I have seenThe cost will be in the region of £10m +/-

We will pop soon, way way too much EV development happening to not drag us along at one point. Why thry are taking so long in producing the DFS I don't know but Rome......etc etc.

Jaknife
You are contradicting yourself you say it is illegal for companies to "fix" prices and yet you then say that they are doing so because they are companies not countries.
You appear to me to be very bitter against EMH if you think it is 99% overpriced sell up quickly before the price goes to where believe it should be.

JakNife,

'If that goes well' means that if the historical resource estimate is verified with further drilling. Ie once verified they will pay a total of 40m euro for Solarworld.

That's based on a resource estimate for only circa 0.6 million tonnes of which only 0.2mt are measured.

Compare that with 7 million tonnes at the EMH mine ( 4mt indicated and 3mt inferred), which will be upgraded soon and I really don't see your point.

Also, what about the other peer comparisons?

EMH is also an existing mine with infrastructure in place.

I think we will have to agree to disagree about the potential value of EMH.

So Solarworld has 'no' lithium either. Why are BCN paying circa 40 mil for it?

Also, the resources in the other companies I've mentioned have 'no' lithium. Why is there a market for their shares at the values I've mentioned?

JakNife it's difficult to value potential mines I agree. As a comparison however see below:

BCN are to acquire Solarworld lithium project for just short of 40 million pounds for 511,000 tonnes of Li underground. For those that don't know anything about Solarworld they are connected to EMH's deposit. Solarworld have no money, so by your valuation should be worth nowt.
In comparison EMH have completed their exploration and at the moment have 7 million tonnes of Li underground with more to come (to be reported any day). So pro rata EMH should be worth 548 million pound. Ie 10 times our current market cap. (Yes our market cap is only circa 50m pound not 115m).

BCN is also aware due to our PFS that it will cost $400 million capex to produce 20,000 tonnes of Li.

Let's check that valuation based on companies at various stages in their life cycle compared with the size of their resource. Bear in mind the more favorable location of EMH including already developed infrastructure and mine, compared to say Africa, which is the case with some of the others:

PLS Market cap 400 Million pounds: containing an estimated 1.95 million tonnes of LCE
LAC Market cap 320 Million pounds: Proven & probable reserves 1.5 million tonnes LCE
LIX Market cap 140 Million pounds: Indicated & Inferred resource 2.05 Million tonnes LCE
AVZ Market cap 80 Million pounds: Just started their exploration and drilled their first few holes.
EMH Market cap 55 million pounds: Indicated & Inferred resource 7 million tonnes LCE!

The above resource no's for EMH also excludes all the tin.

I wonder why everyone including the car makers are talking of lithium-ion batteries as the only source of electric power for the next generation of electric vehicles?

IMO Tesla ,who had to take a position five years ago, has to maintain a continuous strategy and is heavily ,possibly irrevocably, invested in the battery path to electric power, and simply cannot think of faltering.

However a few others in SE Asia and two mercifully in the UK, CWR and IEH, in the leading cohort are putting their conviction into the path beckoning to fuel cells.

CWR has a tight lipped partnership with Nissan, probably to produce a viable solution for FC powered EVs, unlikely to emerge before 2019 (and a partnership with Honda, which pro tem is to develop FCs only for static power), but IEH 's collaboration with Suzuki has just delivered operationally fit FC driven electric scooters to our Metropolitan Police, and has just signed up with an established US drone maker to supply the lightweight FC component to integrate with a drone version to launch in Q1-2018.

The CWR SteelCell has been stealthily developed over the last five years to provide a step jump achievement with a highly patented, low cost, long lived, Solid Oxide FC which can be mass produced and IMO will very much surprise the bike and small car market
