09/5/2022 18:56 | Shares tend to fall fastest towards their ultimate destination after the £1 threshold crossed. Just an observation. This may be brutal, but it's an income IT, so a case of safety in numbers... | brucie5
09/5/2022 12:43 | The trick to investing in EAT is to buy in when you think the share price will be higher at 31 Dec next, then if all goes to plan you are buying a 6%+ future dividend. Look beyond the short term payments, and the next one is months away yet. I was waiting for under 100p to double up, but I am still not sure what the bottom is or what the year end might bring. Could we see something in the 80s even? | marktime1231
07/5/2022 20:44 | Back to £1. A break below would be interesting. | brucie5
04/5/2022 16:02 | Added by >10% today, and it'll no doubt get lower still. | brucie5
28/4/2022 07:37 | Almost certainly as it will be 6% of year end NAV | panshanger1
28/4/2022 07:30 | The dividend they pay in future may well be lower than the current dividend. | rcturner2
28/4/2022 06:57 | Panshanger1, are you suggesting the dividend will be much lower than currently offered ? | lima666
28/4/2022 06:32 | Don't forget though that next year's dividend is based on the year end NAV and not earnings They can pay out of capital here to cover shortfall if necessary | panshanger1
27/4/2022 12:03 | Actually it’s just over 8% 🤔 | dodger777
27/4/2022 12:00 | Decent price currently to start buying in ? I know there might be more opportunities ahead but to get my foot in the door and a 7%ish dividend on current price looks decent value | dodger777
14/4/2022 15:29 | Small topping up here too. | brucie5
12/4/2022 09:48 | Added some more at 108.5 to my SIPP & ISA holdings today looking ahead to August Dividends and hopefully a recovery in share price. | catch007
08/4/2022 19:10 | Did exactly the same thing.. | chc15
06/4/2022 12:38 | Added some in to my ISA at 115p to catch the ex-div but in the short term I suspect EAT might drift. (Edit ... rats, could of had these at 113p if only I had held nerve. Hey ho. Now the trick is spotting the bottom to double up ... 100p again?) | marktime1231
31/3/2022 12:16 | Ex div on 7th April, 2.2p = 7.46% for the year at share price 117p. | killing_time
31/3/2022 11:35 | Ditto, had to wait until the ISA / SIPP windows opens and it doesn't give us much time to get in before ex-div. If the price heads back over 120p by then I might look elsewhere, the medium term outlook for European stocks is quite depressed. | marktime1231
31/3/2022 06:06 | I must admit that I also considered doubling up at 100p but didn't do so. | rcturner2
30/3/2022 09:48 | Dang... Knew I should have bought these at £1... Sometimes it doesn't pay to overthink. | brucie5
02/3/2022 12:00 | Just found another 5k from my wife's proposed new kitchen fund, so just added that also! Ha Ha! | tonytyke2
02/3/2022 11:56 | Just added 10k, let see how it goes. GLA! | tonytyke2
01/3/2022 21:01 | Still hovering, and in the top three on my buy list for when the ISA window opens along with LGEN and i3E. | marktime1231
