15/5/2018 10:17 | CP when is that? It's good to know that Egdon as operator can plan and make applications in a manner expected of a professional o&g company. | dunderheed
15/5/2018 08:51 | After Egdon's success with Lincolnshire council, we would have had a bit more interest here ready for the Wressle application | currypasty
15/5/2018 07:43 | Spangle surely it's worth what Brammars has just paid? Ie 8 * £7.5k which equals £60k?! | dunderheed
15/5/2018 07:37 | From David Bramhill Union Jack and its Commercial Partner Humber Oil & Gas Limited will each make an investment to acquire a 16.25% interest in PEDL201 ("Widmerpool Gulf") and a 12.5% interest in PEDL181 ("Humber Basin") for a cash consideration of £7,500 each [EOG has 50% interest in PEDL181, in which Kiln Lane was drilled. Looks like Celtique's share was taken by the co-venturers. According to Edison it's worth as much as the market cap of Europa. "...Applying Edison's unconventional acreage value ranges to Union Jack's licence interests, implies a value range between US$6 million and US$22 million." | spangle93
14/5/2018 13:07 | Egdon got it through... North Kelsey and Biscathorpe Planning Update Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR) advises that its applications to extend to December 2020, the existing planning permissions to drill conventional exploratory oil wells at both the North Kelsey-1 and Biscathorpe-2 site locations were approved at today's meeting of the Lincolnshire County Council Planning Committee. Commenting on the decisions, Mark Abbott, Managing Director of Egdon Resources plc, said: "We are pleased with today's decisions to extend the planning permissions as it enables us to progress our drilling plans at both the North Kelsey and Biscathorpe conventional oil prospects. For Biscathorpe-2, following recent farm-outs on this well, we now look forward to drilling this high potential conventional oil prospect with operations commencing around mid-2018. We hope to conclude further farm-out negotiations for North Kelsey-1 shortly enabling drilling to be targeted around the end of 2018 providing a further material near-term catalyst for Egdon" | currypasty

13/5/2018 09:02 | William was one of the original investors in EOG before it went public - he recouped his original investment by the time of the IPO (as far as I can recall). Subsequently he snapped up the remaining M&G Shares for +/- £400k at about 4p a share without looking it up. He has sold before in order to meet tax obligations and only fair he should be allowed to do so again. Vermillion said that they expect to take over in 1H 2018 so not long now. | jusmasel99
13/5/2018 08:35 | When do they take over Corrib? It cannot be long now. I'm not sure why William would sell at a loss but stranger things happen. | guesswhosback
13/5/2018 08:12 | Bit of speculation on my part for the move upwards on Friday. If William for instance had told the board and received permission to sell a load of his shares in January and it has taken this long to offload them then the new directors would have been aware of this. Not exactly insider trading as you can't force a director to buy shares but they would have been silly to do so when they knew the share price would be under pressure until the shares were shifted. So maybe tomorrow news of director buys AND sells. on the other hand we know RNS for publication leaks like a seive so maybe the buyer knows what is coming tomorrow morning - either way I will be disappointed if there is no news ... Corrib Thinking about the Shell Well that hit gas to TD and apparently drilled no deeper - why would they stop? Expsnsive delay to get permission to drill deeper so perhaps they did anyway without seeking permission? One thing for sure is that Vermillion will know what happened. The Corrib partners are planning 2 additional production wells at Corrib in 2020 at a cost of $100m - that will boost production but reduce the lifespan of the field. Recent news from Vermillion states that their reservoir model is behaving as anticipated. Surely if additional prospects are found by Hugh and his team there is the choice to divert some of this $100m towards an exploration well. Looking forward to Vermillion and CPIB taking over Corrib - rapid newsflow then I think as Hugh has been talking to the partners for some months now. | jusmasel99

Im still ok for driving though without glasses, no trouble reading the numberplate yet.
