22/5/2018 11:17 | and for CLNR I hope! ...and UOG, I think I've got it covered ;) | bountyhunter
22/5/2018 10:37 | I am happy at recent share price strength though. Maybe some good news in upcoming licence results tomorrow? | dunderheed
22/5/2018 10:31 | 4S, Jus keeps on about these assets like the industry didn't know about it, lol?! Wtgr I have heard respected BD people saying things like... 'this is merely a decision as to whether EOG have stolen a march on the mkt. and if you believe that farm in'...? Results to date imply that the market dont agree with Eog but I personally have bought some on this gamble because a stopped watch and all that... All imho and dyor!! | dunderheed
22/5/2018 10:23 | I agree Dunderhead. At best this news weakens our hand in any discussions and I am not a fan of the deal making prowess of EOG to date either. | 4sta
22/5/2018 10:18 | Predator spurred on no doubt by my enthusiasm for the area ;-) However - the board has inside info on their chances as Enterprise drilled the only well in their block round about the turn of the century in what appears to be a three drill program. Their block is comparitively small in acreage compared to ours and the well that was drilled to the South of Corrib was P&A. Probably confirming the extent of what became the Corrib field. Competition is good particularly when it appears to be inferior to our offering and it will help attract more interest to the area. | jusmasel99
22/5/2018 09:48 | Agree spangle but they are going to need to farm out similar to EOG and are potential partners competition to doing this. Reading Jus's posts it seems an almost done deal between EOG and Vermicelli petroleum for a barn storming farm down ? So now we have others looking to do similar and a comparison for the world class EOG mgt. At this point I am betting on EOG mgt but not that confidently looking at deals done to date! All imho and dyor!! | dunderheed
22/5/2018 09:42 | The RNS announcing the float has more definition Offshore Ireland, Predator seeks to move forward to further develop its existing licence position subject to regulatory consent and approvals. The Predator near-term focus is on gas exploration immediately adjacent to the Corrib gas field infrastructure, where in 2017 Shell sold its 45% stake in the Corrib gas field, subject to regulatory consent and approvals, for a reported USD 1.23 billion. Successfully exploring for and developing Ireland's potential indigenous gas resources, in areas where medium-term satellite tie-backs to producing infrastructure are feasible, is seen by Predator as a means of reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the future by providing the opportunity for gas to replace coal and oil as a source of energy. | spangle93
22/5/2018 09:24 | HP absolutely and interesting. Let's see how they promote their assets in comparison to EOG? | dunderheed
22/5/2018 09:24 | Svenice7 who are you? I have never seen a post from you and you claim £1 per share because you are an inside trader. Give us a break. | guesswhosback
22/5/2018 09:06 | svenice7, I was not ramping. You clearly don't understand that Corrib is of interest to EOG shareholders and I posted the article to give the context. I clearly stated the penultimate paragraph was of interest. | hpotter
22/5/2018 08:58 | This is the EOG thread, not some ramping tinpot junk channel. | svenice7
22/5/2018 08:53 | Penultimate paragraph is of interest. 22 May '18. Proactive Investors: Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc is to be a new listing in London that will bring together two plays that many exploration and production focussed investors will likely to be quite familiar with. The company has a Trinidad based enhanced oil recovery project as well as exploration acreage offshore Ireland. It is raising £1.3mln of new capital through the London IPO. The placing was said to be “significantly oversubscribed” “This is an important milestone for the group,” said Paul Griffiths, Predator chief executive. “Our portfolio of assets has been built to create operational momentum thus ensuring that we are ideally-placed to grow rapidly, as market sentiment in the oil and gas sector improves, and drive returns for all stakeholders." In Trinidad, the company is poised to fund near-term drilling at the mature, producing Inniss Trinity oil field - in return it will earn a 50% stake - and the well data will flow into the planning for an enhanced recovery venture. Off Ireland’s west coast, Predator has an exploration licence immediately adjacent to the Corrib gas field (which is the country’s largest established hydrocarbons project). It plans to test potential satellite gas prospects which could potentially be tied-back to the Corrib infrastructure. The IPO is being run by brokers Optiva and Novum. It is expected that the shares will be admitted on Thursday May 24 to a standard listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. | hpotter
22/5/2018 08:46 | By the way I'd have thought more details will be released in H1 2018 to be that they've opened a new data room Lol. Cue the normal massive big oil industry interest comments, brief flurry in share price then back to the normal dismal pfmce LOL!! All imho and dyor please!!! Having said the above, share price holding quite well? | dunderheed
22/5/2018 08:37 | Yes but that still includes June? Look mate seriously don't want to argue with you defending EOG mgt (LOL) I was only saying like.... | dunderheed
22/5/2018 08:35 | We are working very hard to complete a farm-in to our South Porcupine licences so that we can play an active part in the exploration drilling phase. We have undertaken a major programme of 3D seismic PSDM reprocessing, the project has been running since February 2017. PSDM reprocessing over FEL 3/13 and 1/17 has been completed and we are very encouraged by the improved product and impact on prospect mapping, more details will be released later in H1 2018 well this from the investor presentation clearly states H 2018 | currypasty
22/5/2018 08:31 | CP I wouldn't expect too much info on that for mnths from EDIT original announcement at least. They're not bp or Shell, 9 weeks for any real g&g interpretation and analysis is f all unless you're BP or Shell and throwing resources at it? I'm sure you know my opinion of Muppet central but even I'll stick up for them about that LOL! | dunderheed
22/5/2018 08:21 | RNS 14 March 2018 Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC is pleased to provide its investors with the following update on its portfolio of multistage licences offshore Ireland, including Licensing Option ('LO') 16/20 near the Corrib gas field in the Slyne Basin, where management has elected to fast track an ongoing technical work programme following positive results. Come on, lets have an update, no point telling us its 'fast tracked', then nothing for 9 weeks! | currypasty
22/5/2018 08:14 | Picked up a few more | guesswhosback
22/5/2018 06:49 | Market catching up? We believe that our gas exploration prospects in LO 16/20 could potentially: • supply a significant part of Ireland’s future gas demand needs - be it for electricity generation or domestic and industrial heating • provide an element of security of supply • provide some of the solution to the intermittency of renewable electricity • prolong utilisation of the existing Corrib gas infrastructure and increase sustainability of the project These favourable gas demand factors together with low geological risk in a proven hydrocarbon play, comparatively shallow water and therefore lower operating cost environment, and existing production infrastructure potentially leading to rapid commercialisation, has led to the decision to fast track exploration of our gas prospects in LO 16/20 in the Slyne Basin near the Corrib gas field. | rayrac
21/5/2018 22:09 | A bid to keep protesters away from an oil-drilling site looks set to get the go ahead this week. Europa Oil and Gas has put in an application to build a two metre high steel mesh fence and a three metre high deer proof fence with a security patrol corridor around the site at Leith Hill. Officers at Surrey County Council have recommended the planning and regulatory committee meeting on Wednesday permit the application. | currypasty
21/5/2018 21:23 | Yes CP but it was fun on the way up LOL, I was living in the May Fair Hotel And driving Aston Martin's. Happy days. Even you were happy. | guesswhosback
21/5/2018 21:08 | and look what happened to nighthawk .. remind me to sell here at 99p, and never look back | currypasty
21/5/2018 19:26 | Nice one Ray. Only share I've ever seen do 4p to £1 was Nighthawk. I think EO. Did it for a while too. It would be a miracle to see £1 here. | guesswhosback
21/5/2018 19:07 | Well, I’ve been watching the ceo in an interview, kindly posted on here, stating the EOG blocks offshore Ireland, could be holding as much as 4b barrels equivalent! 10p a share? I should cocoa! That £1 looks attainable to me. Probably as a result of a bid. | rayrac |
