12/7/2005 11:50 | Hermes (and two others) selling hasnt helped, but hopefully Eurodis and the other company will know that the price has fallen because of them selling out at any price and so has had a disproportionate effect on the share price. Also, if the talks started post philips rns (2.2p), then 4p to 5p is certainly possible. | ed winchester
12/7/2005 11:48 | Great pity there's been an almost constant drain on share price by institutional selling | mike012321
12/7/2005 11:47 | I will go for a lot less... 3p | ed winchester
12/7/2005 11:46 | Sorry to be pessimistic, but I honestly believe no more than 3p. | realcooltrader
12/7/2005 11:44 | Ed, I'll go over the top and say 6p at least-just believe there's strategic value there and "good synergies" DYOR | mike012321
12/7/2005 11:42 | Ok posters, assuming Pete's comments have some truth in them, and as a bit of light entertainment whilst we wait..... any of you brave enough to predict/guess what price the buyout price will be (if Eurodis is being bought). Obviously no one will hold it against anyone who makes a prediction. | ed winchester

12/7/2005 11:36 | Thanks Pete. May I ask was the source within ELH, or your friend in the US? Also, is your source not concerned that you're leaking his info to us? | crossfirecssf
12/7/2005 11:33 | ok Pete, fair enough. Thanks. | mike012321

12/7/2005 10:50 | I am trying to persuade Mrs rct to part with some of her ill gotten gains from RTD, however, she rightly points out my lack of trading success to date on this one. I'll keep up the pressure. | realcooltrader
12/7/2005 10:40 | Morning all.... and Happy Christmas to you, Mr Ed!! Sorry about last night's "have a good weekend" aberration. The weekend is on my mind because I'm doing a Chiansaw - off on a 10-day break to a civilised part of Southern Spain. As to ELH...... 'spose there's still a few mill of the Hermes shares hanging over as well as the many mills sold off during the last few weeks by PI's. Still, would have thought a few people would be "gambling" today and in days to come on ELH striking a good deal with their mystery suitor. Regards all. | dyfiman
12/7/2005 10:23 | we need chiansaw to come back from his hols pronto, i'm sure he would cause a tick up with a purchase of a few million (pocket money to him). | ed winchester
12/7/2005 10:22 | the psychology of investors is odd sometimes. when it falls you get to see quite a few buyers appearing, yet when it rises there is hesitation as buyers hold back. | ed winchester
12/7/2005 10:17 | Could be, with more volume. 1k traded so far!! | realcooltrader
12/7/2005 10:09 | RCT - that quite a big improvement from yesterday's limits..... i reckon we'll see the bid at .95p or 1p shortly........ | edward3
12/7/2005 10:07 | cheers rct. not bad. | ed winchester

12/7/2005 09:42 | Off topic Pippin - post 8530 re cco. Read it this morning and nearly had a heart attack, I thought you were talking about the joint venture announcement and that the price had now dropped to 18p! Relieved to find this is not the case (yet). At the time of the earlier drop I don't think the Market had any idea what was going on either, hence the massive spread and large swings. If S. Pearson is to be believed then there is cash of £2.40 per share soon to be unlocked - the promissary note was realised and the dosh is deposited with the Brazilian Bank on a not ungenerous interest rate (yes I know...) If this is bona fide then we have a valuable cash shell and deals in the pipeline - I admit the old adage comes to mind - if it looks to good to be true then.... | sore loser |
