15/5/2019 08:51 | a lot of the costs were one offs and start up costs, just as another wash plant would be a one off start up cost, but if we are operating it then maybe that will be the way forward for all wash plants? | excellance

15/5/2019 08:31 | Writing off the uranium project is interesting. Massive loss against market cap, Wk should be sold, but have to say there are some green shoots in those results. On Wk, euas own operating costs are just below their income so not good. Hard to tell where the 2nd wash plant will come from, presume eua budget. What happened to mr 7%. Great for the contractor getting 70% | russiaguru

15/5/2019 07:59 | Summary of key points for me ... I agree that MT options are being kept open. Possible that a JV will be made with Norilsk Nickel, with some ore going to the smelting facility owned by Norilsk Nickel which is located just down the road. Regarding WK: ... expanding the mine at West Kytlim to multiple operating sites is now a key objective for the Company. ... believe the Company can grow its West Kytlim operation to become the largest alluvial platinum mine globally. ... Grades at West Kytlim ran 3-5 times the grade expected from resource calculations ... A further contract was also agreed at the Refinery, with a substantially improved sales margin (refining cost) for platinum which was reduced from 3% of LME to 1.5%. ... Improvements to the washing circuit, aimed at improving washing efficiency and metal recovery were implemented for the 2019 mining season.... Should the increased recovery prove significant, the 2018 mine tailings will then become a target for a simple jig-based reprocessing circuit. .... Work is also ongoing on defining an exploration strategy for the considerable 'Flanks area' surrounding the West Kytlim deposit. ... The additional area has the potential for considerable further discovery of PGM bearing gravels, known to be continuous beyond the contours of the current mining license. Regarding MT: .... The Company continues to keep all options for this major project's development on the table and are further encouraged by the potential to add further to the reserve and resource base directly adjacent the project. ... January of 2019, a contract was awarded to the Central Kola Expedition, Eurasia's exploration programme coordinator which has also worked with B2Gold, Norilsk Nickel and Barrick, for the design of a Detailed Project Report ... Provisional tailings storage and waste rock dump locations have been identified at the project which benefits from near ideal infrastructure, being located within 10km of the major mining town of Monchegorsk, host to a smelting facility owned by Norilsk Nickel. ... the holder of a mining license has, under Russian legislation, the right to apply for further ground adjacent to an identified deposit, and within 5km of an approved reserve. Work is now ongoing compiling the considerable database of information available for potential exploration license applications on this ground. | red rook

15/5/2019 07:55 | i think they are juggling wk approval with ongoing drilling and site prep, and the lead time for delivery of the new wash plant, and of course paying for it. but it looks like its all in hand and will arrive in weeks. im delighted with the numbers from wk for last year, excellent result, and of course we made a net loss, but expected i think. | excellance
15/5/2019 07:55 | "The Directors' look forward to continued successful production at West Kytlim and believe the Company can grow its West Kytlim operation to become the largest alluvial platinum mine globally. The Directors' believe West Kytlim mine cash flows, from a single operating and contracted washplant, notwithstanding considerable final settlements of loans through 2018 (which made the Company debt free) are now sufficient to make significant contributions to the running of the Company at Group level." Regards, Ed. | edgein
