As for the placing - you know the shares are coming before the placing is announced. As a broker / institution you go short on the stock (it was trading around 29p before the placing). You receive the shares after the placing is announced for the price you paid for them (26p). You use those shares to close your short and you pocket the difference. I'd guess the broker made a very low-risk "turn" on the deal of 5%-10%, plus the extra sweetener of the warrants, which they may well be exercising and selling off now.
There is nothing special about this tactic, and it is hardly unique to EUA. It is absolutely bog-standard practice for AIM placings. AIM is an open sewer, you know; it's not a secret.

We done this before the other day tigerboy. No analysts are talking about prices going back to $500 and you couldn't find evidence to support you. Some talk of $1000-$1500 if you dive into details. Pd has been in deficit for years, so this short term blip with the chip shortage has seen it return to balance. Where is this new supply coming from by the way? Another baseless claim!

The weeks before the $20m was announced 20th May the share price was around 25-28p and only spike was 13th May when FSP ended the night before. No where near enough volume to forward sell 50m shares so please stop with this fantasy, the data does not support you yet again. You really think an American II would spent $20m to lose money or make pennies at best. Deluded like I said.

uknighted....you are confusing addition and multiplication!!! If 1 has increase by 1.7 TIMES that is 1x1.7= 1.7. the same way 1x2.7=2.7. You are talking about adding not multiplying. 1+0.7=1.7. It really is basic maths but you are confusing the terms multiplication and addition.

So we got the more complicated correction and I regret I don't think it is over and 28.5 remains my favourite target. If we had bounced above 39p from abc to A on chart below then we would be off to the races but even with news this AM we have not managed it and instead seem to be completing the correction of the move from 14.5 to 39. Still not concerned as I am looking at the minutia and the move up to 39 has, imo, set the tone and trend but we just have to be patient and let this correction complete. The good news is that perversely the further we drop the more the spring is coiled for the next leg up :)

Its hilarious, and sad at the same time. He along with his alter ego PATT, is on ADVN on the Eurasia Bear case platform, for those who need cheering up.
