I dont think the Market has a clue what this will go through. I am reminded of Amerisur Resources where the agreed offer was near the share price at the time. Everyone was expecting a takeout at around 50p. That never happened. It was taken out at 19p yet the assets were worth far more. With EUA we will just have to wait and see

IG offlay trades in the market...I can place a s'bet long and see the corresponding shares bought in the market.

edit: trade 146 for example was IG placing my £250/pp long addition

IG operate by hedging. So if they get more net long positions opened they have to compensate by a balancing sell, and vice versa. So if that was an IG sell it was to net off an excess of buys during the day. Naturally this includes their spreadbet operation
