indeed, time is money, and a deal is coming.

i am now looking towards yield as opposed to just growth as i head towards retirement, and maybe the EUA deal will provide for yield?

we will soon see...

obviously the current economic situation is tricky to judge, with massive government and corporate debt, brexit, covid, the US elections, who can say whether there will be a crash or not, but the outlook for precious metals and green metals is excellent

i have also started looking at the bombed out oil companies, because oil still has a part to play and is very out of favour right now, so valuations are cheap provided they can survive this current cycle.

Good luck Exellance. If it drops further 1 or 2p you will be back in a week or two as the end game will be closer and the share price will get going again. Because you know that 30p is still too cheap.Mark my words :)

i have to admit to selling a further chunk of my holding. i was hoping for 37p but settled for 33.5p

don't worry i'm still here, still large (for me), and i am now comfortable with the balance of my portfolio, and am now insured against disaster.

after confiding in others about how much money i'd made, i felt a little nervous that if it all went horribly wrong i'd never forgive myself, so i've down sized from 7 digit cash value holding to a six digit one...and relax!!

i will no doubt regret it.

but now i can now distribute that cash to some other exciting opportunities in coming weeks and months as discussed before, car, house, kids, other shares, maybe even reinvest here if the opportunity arises?

again, i am still holding large, just not as large, and my sanity is assured.

Could be a simple asset sale, so no voting required.

Alternatively, this deal could be a showcase event, with putin and trump/Biden promoting it to the world as a new era of friendship...

CBLAndy, the last one i was involved with was WJA and it was announced in Australia first with a 7 am RNS here, however, it was still subject to shareholder approval but since the larger ones approved it, it was just a rubber stamp exercise for the rest of the investors, which will be the same here imo.

Aberloon2/Excellance - I bow to your knowledge and experience as I'm unsure how the announcement might be made. So, a question for you both....would the takeover panel not have to be informed first of all so they can issue un updated disclosure table? Or, would that come after a formal RNS....do you know?

If we'd gone below 30p and stayed there then 57p would have been in doubt on charts. Still on track to hit in
