My understanding was that Esure only had 4% of the home insurance market and were quite picky regarding who they insured. Not sure if this policy changed after the IPO. Hopefully therefore not to much damage done to their book.
Would have thought the likes of Aviva much more vulnerable.

Flood advice for our car insurance customers
Recent floods have left many car owners quite literally and financially submerged. However, if you are a Direct Line car insurance customer you could be covered for some flood-related damage that has occurred...

How much will that cost?

Shares are for buying and selling. I think twenty-six per cent is a stock market gift.

Admiral, Esure and Direct Line are all up strongly and so this seems to be an industry re-rating. I'm happy as I hold all three!

I think your right, this will push on now and turn out to be a great long term stock. I bought it for the div at 229 in July so growth so soon is a bonus. This companies management has the best track record in the industry.

When I bought in I was hoping for 260. Think I will let it run now with a stop of 270. 20% in a couple of months, I wish I was always that good.

Think it will keep going to 300 and then stabilise for a while. Decent results with good news on dividend will push it further north.
