I see the house broker issued a research note and 4p target in January. I wonder if they'll be minded to adjust that upwards after today's update.

Well that has put the short sellers here out of pocket. Now cheryl calverley has been able to display why she was appointed CEO and I look forward to her driving this company through to much higher levels.

Add to that - a real turnaround through the Covid first wave so we are seeing a resilience for a growing business with fresher ideas from the leadership. re-rate seems appropriate...

So trading update....

Net cash at 30 June 2020 of £9.1m but current market cap of £4m.
Eg net cash over double current market cap...

Trading at about break even level-ish (for first time ever).
Generally speaking expectations for year look good.

From update, company superficially looks like its undervalued substantially.
But I'm notoriously bad at reading small print etc etc.

You may have a point but classed as a scam is a bit much. Bad management of a business for a time - guilty. Lets see if there's a marked improvement in the morning. GL with your short though if it pays off...

Interesting to see other bulky good internet companies doing well. I've shown you G4M do stellar but actually the industry giant AO is also doing really well selling bulky goods over the internet:


So it is possible (not saying its happening) that EVE might actually have pulled the SALES GROWTH rabbit out of the bag too....

I was mentioning recently how well my shares in selling musical instruments over the internet have gone (G4M) . You might want to see the recent share graph..... I'm hoping this is like a good omen of what might happen with Eve. Eve is quite a well known brand thanks to their clever advertising in the "Big Issue" (taken by a lot of Waitrose types) and else where

Basically its a similar business - selling big bulky expensive items over the internet that can be used in the house.

Slow and steady uptick it maybe but that`s the way it`s going, and thanks for those links OutlawInvestor. All great PR.With DFS having to turn to more on-line sales,it would be great if EVE were to link up with them or be taken out by them at a great premium. A nice fit.

pumpdump: If you look at how this company was/is apparently burning cash (see accounts) then if upcoming update is "nothing much" that would be a BRILLIANT RESULT (do the arithmetic) ... "nothing much" is a great result.

Absolute waste of money - Good to see the ramping crew have left this share alone at a veritable loss - Expect nothing much from upcoming update, terrible share.
