12/6/2020 08:58 | You were heard. Website updated. | richie07
10/6/2020 11:24 | One more thing about time Cheryl Calverley, pulled her finger out and updated the company website as to who is the CEO. That is one of the first things she should have done, to put a stamp on who is leading the business from day one. Come on Cheryl, if you want to show your on the ball start acting like a competent CEO, not having to wait for others to point out what you should be doing. | clocktower
10/6/2020 11:14 | It seems the bigger sellers are not yet finished and if these sells are anything to do with Allianz Global Investors ,7,500,000, 2.8% holding - they might have a few to part with yet - being below 3% they have no need to report dropping their holding. If there is another major holder looking for the exit, then regardless of value it needs some volume take up by PI`s to clear any overhang there might be. At least Woodford is out of the way. | clocktower
09/6/2020 08:53 | A healthy start to today's trades. The 856k shrs buy stands out. f | fillipe
08/6/2020 13:38 | Starting to move now.... | richie07
08/6/2020 13:25 | I see a report in the Times of a boom in online mattress sales - Simba sales 220% above normal in May and Emma with a 150% increase. A rising tide lifts all boats as they say... | richie07
04/6/2020 15:02 | There seems to have been some pretty large selling over the last few days and since the RNS. Which I thought was positive so what do I know! I wonder who it is offloading... | richie07
04/6/2020 12:03 | One thing you can bank on, is that unlike a lot of other mattress makers in the UK, EVE are unlikely to ever be endorsed by any member of The Royal Family or carry the crest. One cam hardly consider EVE mattresses to be a luxury product, even if the prices are luxury to many. | clocktower
03/6/2020 15:20 | One other comment - I think the company recognises that the key differentiator in a crowded market is the positioning of the brand as a mattress in itself is not a unique item. I'm quite sure thats the thinking behind a CEO with marketing as a core skill - leverage and grow the eve brand as a trusted 'sleep product'. We're a very brand aware culture so this also makes sense to me. As I say, I'm an investor and do think this company has a lot of potential - either long term growth or, in a depressed market with a depressed share price, as an acquisition target for a company looking to grow share or move in to the space with a strong brand (don't forget the sunk cost already to build this brand - that in itself has value) | richie07
03/6/2020 15:15 | Good luck to you to. | royalalbert
03/6/2020 15:13 | Sorry, I'll leave this thread. Just aired an opinion based on 40 years in the industry. Good luck all with your investments here, hope it turns for you. | coscos
03/6/2020 15:10 | coscos if not a holder why are you here? Are you in to bed manufacturing (know this industry inside out)? Stick with Purple bricks. | royalalbert
03/6/2020 15:01 | When and if it goes sub 1p it might be worth a punt I guess because of the current cash but they might start burning that at a higher rate to keep interest in the products up, now that folks are going back to work and more interesting in holidays than beds etc. | clocktower
03/6/2020 14:56 | There would need to be many more go bust before Eve benefit and that depends if the market continues to grow and if Eve can see it through. Bottom line is that their product is very ordinary and easily replicated by others. I would suggest there are better opportunities in the market right now. | coscos
03/6/2020 14:13 | The market is crowded but we're already starting to see some thinning (eg Casper leaving the U.K. market). Seems to me Eve are in a good position to exploit this. | richie07
03/6/2020 13:49 | Saturated market and just a matter of time before some of them fail. Ticking timebomb. edit: forgot to add I'm not a holder in any way but know this industry inside out. | coscos
03/6/2020 13:24 | Mms do opposite to what should happen | ic0gcds00
03/6/2020 12:24 | I have to say I'm surprised there isn't more interest here. This looks compelling for the reasons stated (costs under control, profitability before central costs, strong brand build, COVID and the shift to online including).I'm one of those that thinks of the price stays depressed for too long it's a sitting duck for a t/o. It's attractive to an existing online retailer looking to buy share or a bricks and mortar looking to move online. | richie07
02/6/2020 16:26 | Had enough of the Stock market. The corrupt always win. Am Out! Good luck enjoy the casino. | investor114
