19/1/2022 11:18 | Agree. Uk and Ireland profitable in 2022. French expansion is basically the drag but will pay back in future | gregpeck7
19/1/2022 11:15 | Markth123, I have to now disagree having listened to the presentation, as to the long term value - I expect a bounce - but will not be buying now. The predicted loss of £1.6m in 2022 - I think that is what they said - is not acceptable imo, and the only hope, and that sounds unlikely from what they said, is that a bid comes. I have sold at a loss, while they were speaking. I will not be buying this again unless a miracle occurs but good luck. EC your were correct and T well done. | clocktower
19/1/2022 11:14 | Well just watched presentation, and feel very safe in hands of Cheryl to be honest. As she said, let them build and run a profitable cash generative business and the share price will take care of itself. I'm comfortable with my stake here and it's significant | markth126
19/1/2022 11:11 | Added heavily again this morning. | pillow
19/1/2022 11:10 | "Safe bet for the future" - absolute nonsense! It could go up a lot, it could go down a lot/bust, but the one thing it is not is a safe bet. It's as much of a safe bet as 'red' is in roulette. | effortless cool
19/1/2022 11:03 | Would not be surprised to see some director buys now the presentation done. Long term hold from here but safe bet in my view for the future. Will bounce from oversold position. | markth126
19/1/2022 09:53 | Hopefully Cheryl will answer some difficult questions that are likely put to her. She needs to be open and honest with her responses. I am guessing that she had this presentation because she has a bunny to pull out the hat, otherwise why do it so soon after this RNS? :-) | clocktower
19/1/2022 09:49 | Covid gave them a massive boost. They are now building on that boost. Covid basically turbo charged the turnaround | gregpeck7
19/1/2022 09:28 | LOL - EC - you did well though I will grant you that but once it has settled you will see the bounce upwards as more serious buying starts again. Volume still low bearing in mind those that jumped on the rise looking for a quick buck or two. | clocktower
19/1/2022 09:00 | Terrible results, as anticipated. Revenue growth is just too slow and has actually started falling back - H2 was lower revenue than H1 both in the UK&I and in France, which is dismal. In my view, revenue needs to be growing at, say, 25% p.a. to get EVE to a position where it stops destroying cash and starts generating it. Based on current trends, that is not going to happen and they are going to run out of cash again. Another deeply discounted fundraising is the likely outcome, if they can find enough mugs to support it. Talk of a takeover is pie in the sky, I think. Anyone interested might as well wait and pick it up from the receiver. | effortless cool
19/1/2022 08:36 | Plenty of buyers clearly disagree with you buywell3 and while there are numerous sellers it seems many of them will soon regret selling at such very low levels. We shall see but fair value is still 5p+ imo DYOR. | clocktower
19/1/2022 08:30 | Lets look at the negatives Full year EBITDA losses increasing to GBP2.9m And the market is not impressed free stock charts from uk.advfn.com And has not been impressed for many years it seems free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | buywell3
19/1/2022 08:26 | Let us look at the positives: "Two year Group revenue growth of 11% achieved on 40% lower marketing spend. Group revenue increased 6% to £26.6m (2020: £25.2m) and 11% on 2019 comparatives Trading in the first few weeks of the year has started well, with the Group continuing to show year on year growth against challenging comparisons with last year's January lockdown, (with 2021 one of the strongest January's for e-commerce on record)." "eve is fast evolving into a unique, digitally led retail business, focused on the growing area of sleep wellness. This transition is expected to accelerate, becoming more evident in 2022 as brand consideration continues to grow, alongside the launch of new products and services, with the resulting improvement in customer repeat rates. As a result we're proud to say we expect to move the UK&I business to breakeven in 2022." | clocktower
19/1/2022 08:11 | bloody inflation soaring, increase in energy bills, petrol at highs etc | pictureframe
19/1/2022 08:11 | Do not forget the presentation at 10am. | clocktower
19/1/2022 08:10 | It's this that's more the likely causing concern "Notwithstanding increasing pressures on household discretionary income as the cost of living crisis starts to bite," | pictureframe
19/1/2022 08:10 | Lets face facts - not what I expected - disappointed but its just a longer hold than expected, and hopefully a bid sooner rather than later. Hands up I got this wrong. Still Great value at 3p and once its settled I will start buying more to reduce my average, as I see longer term prospects. | clocktower
19/1/2022 08:06 | Some idiot was ramping this on twitter.Should be embarrassed | wolfofhounslow
19/1/2022 08:00 | Look at cash burn. Second half of 2021 700k. Clearly moving to profitability / break even. In a very tough market. This is about building a premium brand that will probably get bought out. I think it's a rock solid set of numbers, company firmly on track here | gregpeck7
19/1/2022 07:50 | Onwards and upwards. The recovery strategy is going to plan. Great update. | david gruen
19/1/2022 07:47 | Totally missing the point, the market values a business on a forward looking basis and all the metrics and outlook look positive to me. Cash is 50% of market cap. Break even at worst moving forward so cash shouldn't be an issue. Cheryl doing a great job with her team and look forward to investor presentation this morning. Market probably won't see it but I think a drop here today will be a good buying opp | markth126
19/1/2022 07:11 | Rock solid for me... over half the mkt cap covered by cash. Revenue heading for 30m plus. Jan comparing well already to last years record January.. and break even this year!? What's not to like there?! | gregpeck7
19/1/2022 07:08 | Nothing to get excited about. Cash burn is high and still not profitable. Not sure what the market will make of it but I suspect a Red day. Back in the bottom drawer for my holding. | pictureframe
19/1/2022 06:34 | Atticus, you are only here to pump and dump. | glavey
18/1/2022 21:24 | We are all locked in. Let's see what Cheryl has for us tomorrow. | gregpeck7 |
