I think the traffic light approach to foreign travel plus the 2 tests per week announcement at the Downing Street press conference tonight will lift the uk markets tomorrow. Neither approach was known

Unfortunately these Lateral Flow Tests are of somewhat limited value as a basis for personal action because of the substantial false negatives. They are more to do with the detection for the public health authorities of pockets of new infection.

Stobart Air and Propius

Esken remains in advanced discussions regarding its exit from Stobart Air and Propius. These discussions have been impacted by the fact that the restrictions on commercial passenger flying have extended beyond the original reasonable worst case scenario and the outlook for aviation has continued to decline.

This has not provided a favourable backdrop for an exit from an airline and aircraft leasing business. Despite this, Esken has a number of options and is engaged actively in achieving the best outcome. Esken remains confident of bringing this matter to a conclusion in the near term.

Needs to get this finalised.

The Vulture fund purchases yesterday seem not to have reached statutory notification. My concern is for the 29% holding by the Tosca fund having suffered in my view from their takeover into private equity of TALTALK recently. I would welcome advice that Esken is less vulnerable to this.
