Interesting that even Exeter is getting massive new funding to help with the bounce back for Airports , this tiddler should benefit from the same input , has to be worth 120p once we open up properly .Building a nice holding here.

It’s not that simple. Southend is used a lot for cargo. Then airlines use it due to costs. EasyJet & Ryanair aren’t suddenly going to start using Heathrow. Yes, numbers will be limited this year, but hopefully will boom next year. Ive booked a week in Tenerife for October..

A voice of common sense - lpavlou. Makes a change to a lot of the attempted ramping up in here. 2021 airport demand / footfall will be nothing like what it was pre pandemic and therefore Southend will suffer as a result of that for the majority of it.

Despite the excellent vaccine rollout, this year will be a write-off as the airlines will be using the major London airports where there is ample capacity. It won't be until next Spring when the airlines start to re-use Southend.

I notice a lot of 100 share sell trades.

Assuming its the same seller, is there an advantage in disposing of a holding in this way ?

IATA are stating that for 2021, even in the most optimistic of scenarios with restrictions lifted and vaccine rollouts that this is only enough to fuel tepid demand at airports ie at 38% of levels seen in 2019. What does that equate to for Esken airport ? I agree there is pent up demand John, but airports will still struggle this year.
