16/11/2023 21:57 | MR K Am gonna keep asking What was the Nuclear option ? | riskyinvestor
16/11/2023 14:12 | Interesting | bahamasoil
16/11/2023 11:55 | Whatever it was, it was taking place in Nigeria, with a BVI registered company on AIM. What could go wrong? Even if the so-called regulator wan't complicit and actually cared they wouldn't have been able to do anything. If there was something dodgy it's hardly a shock is it and we were the fools tempted by the greed of easy momey investing in that scenario. In a way we deserved it. That's not to excuse the scum like Rand and Dimmock who prey on idiots like us. we could have donated the money to charity but instead we gave it to that scum. The sad thing is that the SLG were so passive, wemt along with it and dished out false hope so they could feel important. | geordieduke2
16/11/2023 10:11 | WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE NUCLEAR OPTION WAS Come on MR K Stop taking us for a ride You Chelsea fan | riskyinvestor

08/11/2023 14:31 | The truth hurts but it's still the truth. No problem, it's what people do when they have no argument. The SLG is a waste of space, you were taken in by them, as you say, you;re a bit of a numb nut. | geordieduke2
08/11/2023 12:56 | Ah I found a solution, what a derr brain I am, I forgot about the filter button, DOH sorry geordie, but, I just can't put up with you any longer. | fatfish
04/11/2023 17:59 | They enjoyed being the special ones feeding false hope so that people would fawn over them. Can you actually prove that or is it just your opinion?? just wondering | fatfish
03/11/2023 23:33 | Mainly agree, in that this was a write-off years ago. I think the SLG was a spineless waste of space though. They enjoyed being the special ones feeding false hope so that people would fawn over them. | geordieduke2
01/11/2023 09:45 | geordieduke231 Oct '23 - 23:39 - 67884 of 67884 I don't think it was an "ego thing" as you call it. I believe they genuinely wanted to get a result here for all of us and at the time we were all grateful for the glimmer of hope. Pointless slagging people off when things didn't materialise as there are no winners here apart from the BOD and Nigerians. Why EEL still exists as a company is a big mystery to me as it should have been put into administration by now. Maybe it hasn't, is because the administrators may find some value here and if so maybe, just, perhaps a shareholder distribution would be on the cards? I just don't know, but every company it has been my misfortunate to hold that delisted and went private ultimately went into administration with zilch for the shareholders. I think the "cruel bit" is down to the Nigerians not putting this into administration. Maybe a revenge thing for all those years of being a British colony? I wrote off my 108k holdings here years ago and don't hold out any hope of a return in what's left of my lifespan however small. No point in carping on about it as what's done is done and unless you have bottomless pockets to launch a legal approach which even if it was successful the Nigerians wouldn't pay up as we have already seen courtesy of Peak. | digger2779
31/10/2023 23:39 | About 17 years too late. Even if it ever existed, we would have lost anyway but maybe there was a chance to give them something back and have a crumb of dignty and pride but the SLG were just cowards leading cowards and only did it for the adulation of those on here that prefer false hope to harsh reality. Let's just face it, we were stupid trying to make money for nothing from just another Nigerian scam. A bit embarrassing really. What are the odds of MrK admitting that it all vanished 17 years ago and this SLG ruse was just some sad ego thing? Why doesnt he just come on here and let all these sad people hanging on off the hook? A bit cruel keeping people hanging on. | geordieduke2
26/10/2023 16:05 | Is the nuke option still viable? We should at least open the silo doors. | boris cobaka
24/10/2023 15:19 | Sadly infighting is what those who carried out this very clear scam want to see... Dimmock is a key part of the fraud - divert your anger to him. | 2lb
23/10/2023 07:43 | And we all lost money, some more than others, you're not the only one you know. | fatfish
13/10/2023 15:19 | spp's last post on here... spp11917 Sep '22 - 17:51 - 67544 of 67876 0 14 0 Now that the general silly summer season is over, I hope that co-investors here may appreciate some relevant information on the Jaca well. I enclose the URLS of the two most recent articles that I am aware of for your reference. Breaking New Ground in São Tomé & Príncipe - hxxps://expronews.co Galp-operated consortium announces first drilling on Jaca well in São Tome offshore - hxxps://www.platafor The July 28th one is a very well documented piece putting the Jaca well in a regional context, which thus makes clear the importance of our Block 5 holding next door. The August 8th article provides some info as to the time delayed drilling and the ensuing analysis and interpretation of the geology which will now emerge…… People here may remember that the SLG Team had requested, way back in late April, that an Equator AGM or at least a CC be held upon Galp/Shell announcements of Jaca well drilling results (which was thought at the time to be made public late June/early July). We now believe that something to this effect will occur late September/early October. Accordingly, we hope to have an Equator (probably CC) sometime in October. There are other (contractual) STP/EEZ things which we should learn of at this meeting, such as Blk 5 and Blk12 Phase 2 extensions, which may give us an idea of when Kosmos/Equator will perform their drilling operations. And of course, there are the other equally important OPLs issues where clarity on developments is very much desired. regards SPP119 | cromw3ll
