08/6/2023 07:31 | Adi. MNRG appointed new auditors who did not have sufficient time to complete the AR audit by the LSE required date (30/4/2023) hence applied for voluntary suspension until the audit is complete and AR & Accounts are released. 28 April 2023 MetalNRG plc ("MetalNRG" or the "Company") Delayed publication of audited results for the year ended 31 December 2022 and temporary suspension of listing of the Company's shares Following the Company's announcement on 5 April 2023 in which MetalNRG announced the appointment of RPG Crouch Chapman LLP as new auditor, we now inform the market that due to the restricted time from RPG Crouch Chapman's appointment to the deadline of 30 April 2023 to file year end accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022, the new auditor has had insufficient time to complete the audit of the Company. Accordingly, there will be a delay in publishing audited results for 2022 and, as a result, the Company is making a request pursuant to the Listing Rules for a temporary suspension of the listing of the Company's shares with effect from 07:30 Tuesday 2 May 2023. The change of auditor came about as a result of audit firms having to be registered under the new FRC PIE auditor regulation, with that registration process proving too cumbersome for our previous auditor, which informed the Company in late February that it would be unable to carry out the audit for the December 2022 year end. While every effort was made by the Company to appoint a new auditor as quickly as possible it took longer than expected as there are a limited number of registered auditors available. | stevea171

06/6/2023 21:34 | Thanks to RoR, LSE posted today: Here's an article from today's Investors Chronicle Why energy majors are piling into 'biogas' " ‘Renewable natural gas’ sounds like a misnomer at best, and a misleading marketing term at worst. But energy giants –alongside investors such as BlackRock’s real assets unit – are piling into the biogas, biomethane and biofuel space at pace. And given that the predicted increase in gas demand in the coming years is not matched by the forecast supply, renewable natural gas (RNG) is likely to become a bigger part of lower-carbon energy systems. According to Natalia Patterson, an analyst at consultancy Wood Mackenzie, renewable natural gas is currently just half a per cent of North American natural gas production – but its volumes could climb by 10 times by 2050." "For biogas and biomethane, investment is rising due to the potential returns on offer: Jefferies analysts reckon bioenergy “undoubtedly has the highest expected returns [of the renewable space], running into the mid-teens”, although they cautioned that this is reliant on government support. This suggests the space acts as a middle ground between high-return oil and gas projects and lower-return renewables, although bio options could also prolong the life of combustion technology, be it in cars or power generation." "Direct investment opportunities in the space are limited on the London Stock Exchange. Eqtec (EQT) is a local company that has shifted its ambitions in the past two years, from building and running significant waste-to-energy and related bio plants to licensing its technology......." I've posted the text of the full article here as the link does not work for everyone | stevea171
06/6/2023 13:41 | How could Poseidon/Collibri possibly have considered acquiring three spaces, each to suit 100,000T/pa operations without having studied satisfactory processing at the Tuscan DMC? I can imagine David Palumbo is exceptionally busy at this very moment, with very constrained staff levels a few days before an AGM, up-dating presentations, and controlling plant start ups in California, Croatia and Greece not to mention multiple deliveries and provision of finance etc and etc. Have a bit more patience to see a world first signed off at so many sites at once | scrutable
06/6/2023 11:57 | With all the negativity about lack of delivery and management failure its hard to see what is going to lift this - and that needs to be done soon before its too late | juju44

01/6/2023 20:14 | Countdowns for live operations. June. We could see Agrigas EQT new build plant in Greece complete hot commissioning and commence commercial operations. No recent news from there that I'm aware of. This could accelerate some of the other Greek projects that are moving towards FC. August. Ditto for North Fork. Blue Mountain Energy project nearby should reach FC at any time now. | stevea171
