Rallying back strongly. Would be great if we now got planning news of the Newry Biomass project being finally approved.

The problem is why they chose ZAI in the first place. I wrote this elsewhere on the 27th of July:

""Thanks for your comment.

Re project financing - until any terms for any of the projects are crystallised and known one has to be cautious and assume that nothing will pan out to the benefit of the broader shareholder base (Ebios excluded, since as controlling holder they can essentially take the remnants for virtually nothing in due course if intentions are not benign)

Re whether or not Ebioss will retain just over 50% o- I think all the signs to date are that they will not agree to have their stake diluted so will seek to maintain it by taking the appropriate number of shares to maintain just over 50%.

I appreciate on paper it might appear woefully rated, which it has done for some time. I initially got involved around 2.5p some months ago and was buoyed by the fact that Madden's influence would be diminished as a result of Ebioos being involved (sadly I did not sell out at 9p)- but, I am even more concerned by Ebioss that I am by Madden, and that is saying something.

Another issue of concern is the new NOMAD - just check the list of companies they have been involved with and ask, why, if this real is a serious company with intent and collaborating with significant entities in real deals have they chosen them as Nomad.

Something just does not add up with this.

I do hope the new shares are priced high, since I like others want this to do well so I can offload and take profits. But, one has to be realistic as well."

They need to find a new nomad now also. Shouldn't be a problem.

"Pursuant to Nomad Rule 11, the Exchange has determined to remove the nominated adviser status of ZAI Corporate Finance Limited ("ZAI") for failure to meet, on a continuing basis, nominated adviser eligibility criteria as set out in Nomad Rule 2.
ZAI will be removed from the register of nominated advisers at 7am 19 October 2017 so as to provide additional time for those AIM companies for whom ZAI currently provides nominated adviser services, to appoint a new nominated adviser. Accordingly, the affected AIM companies must appoint a new nominated adviser by this date

Change of Nomad. That's 4 different Nomads in 4 years by my reckoning. And now it's ZAI with its legendary clientele...

Of course, my earlier comment re EQT ought to say if shares priced any higher than price at suspension then that is welcome for existing holders, but, I suspect that those shares in such a scenario would be sold down immediately if such a price is maintained at the open.

isnt the value all about forward looking? significant signed contracts in the bag. I am guessing that Eqtec Iberia has made the investment over a period of time and is now set to reap the rewards.

we simply have to await the admission document

This does not look like a good deal for long term holders of equity.

They have agreed to issue at the very least 556 million shares. At what price? Well, some are suggesting the same price as what Ebioss exchanged shares to wipe their debt out (5.5p). But, that price would be an awful deal for holders of EQTEC. EQTEC Iberia had revenues of about £2 million million and is loss making with net assets of less than a million pounds. To issue more than 550 million shares to buy such a company at price of 5.5p per share is insane. Even at 1p it looks overvalued - the only beneficiary here is Ebioss, who have a majority controlling stake in EQTEC Iberia.

Madden is hanging in there since he has nothing else to do but to continue to reap what he can.

For those who've forgotten what a director of the company looks like much less what they sound like (;-0) there is an interview about today's announcement at:

I'm already in so won't have to panic buy when shares resume trading. Optimism well placed hopefully.

Madden relies on the gullibility of punters to get his placings away.

Here is one very significant near term concern: the Altair debt which is due shortly (by the end of the month), and which is not far off the value of the entire m/c of the group as it currently stands. How will they pay it off? Placing? How many shares will need to be issued at, say, 1p, to generate that amount? What alternative debt instrument or facility will be used to offset it? Or will it be restructured, again to the detriment of existing holders?

Do not take my word for it, this a couple of months ago from Madden:

The validity of the going concern basis is dependent upon additional financing being obtained for the development of, and revenue generation from, the principal assets of the Company and the refinancing of existing debt facilities with Altair Group Investment Limited ("Altair") which are due to be repaid in July 2017 . As no definite agreement has been concluded on either of these a material uncertainty exists in relation to the Company and the Group's ability to continue as a going concern.

Note 12b of the interims highlights the Altair deal:

"refinanced by way of a new two-year 7.5% GBP2 million Convertible Secured Loan Note ("CSLN"), repayable in July 2017"

I bought some of these a couple of months back at 4p but sold soon thereafter for a tiny profit, as I came to the realisation that transparency was poor, and as Warren Buffett said, don't invest in something you don't really understand.Good luck to all holders though... if you understand what's happening here I would think there might be a chance for a good profit from these levels... but it's too risky for me.NAI
