08/3/2024 09:30 | Matters will come to a head on 27th March. | slogsweep
07/3/2024 18:04 | Nico, wish I had some spare to add to my holding. Unless there is a "shocker" from management, IMO there is no reason the share price should be where it is DYOR.....management need to close this ridiculous process 1 way or another now, it reflects badly on them IMO.... | qs99
07/3/2024 17:57 | Interesting rise into the close and good volume... | boozey
07/3/2024 14:55 | Hi Ashleyjv, completely understand what you say but presably due diligence had already begun prior to news of madisons interest leaking and how much longer might this take? | 66fingers
07/3/2024 14:43 | Bought 25k at 108p10p downside vs 60p upside | nico115
07/3/2024 13:24 | It's for the buyers to decide what they are willing to offer and that is what is taking the time because, no one is going to spend £millions without doing due diligence | ashleyjv
07/3/2024 13:08 | If that's the case, why has the process taken so long? I'd be surprised if it takes 5 months to haggle over price. | 66fingers
07/3/2024 10:56 | Will it though? All the information is already out there, it's not as if they are spending all day in meetings with potential buyers. If there is an offer the management will then spend a bit of time deciding if the offer is good enough but, they already know what they want for the company | ashleyjv
07/3/2024 10:21 | 3 months of management time expended. Will impact on performance, imo. | eeza
07/3/2024 09:32 | I feel like they were badly advised with regards to the strategic review and should have just ignored market rumors and carried on business as usual. Seems to be priced for no bid now though. So reduced downside risk. Still growing and should clear £100million revenue easily this year. Uk shares are relatively cheap as people find better returns in US stocks but on the flip side cheap UK companies makes good shopping easier to buy than build. Patience is the key here now | ltinvest
07/3/2024 08:10 | We are now below the shareprice on the day when the strategic review was first announced in an RNS on November 1st. On that day the shareprice opened @110.5p & closed @109p | masurenguy
06/3/2024 10:02 | Nothing makes sense about the current share price. EQLS is only about 5p higher than the day before S-T spoke about the review. In that time the S&P is up 20% and the FTSE 5%. So at best they've tracked the FTSE. Surely if there's a genuinely interested party, rather than it be just a fishing exercise, they would have sat on the bid mopping up the shares that have been offered, rather than pay a presumed sizable premium. The sooner there is some clarity the better. | mcl1
01/3/2024 22:57 | I know that no formal offer has been made for Equals and it may not materialise but today's closing share price of 110p seems low irrespective of whether any bid for the company is submitted. Looking forward to hearing the next company update when hopefully the spotlight can focus on company fundamentals. | 66fingers
27/2/2024 12:33 | Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. I'm just debating whether to buy a few more. | 66fingers
27/2/2024 10:56 | If MDB pull out of a deal then I can see the shares spiking down to 101/102 but recovering quickly to 105/106. I can then see the shares going up over the following weeks as the market realises the opportunity the company has ahead of it with its expansion into Europe. MDB will only pull out of a deal if Equals management set their price too high for MDB to accept. If Equals management believe the company is worth X then I'm quite happy to go along with their valuation. Remember the share price was around 100p when the 'strategic review' was announced, having previously spiked to 120p on its previous trading update/results, hence the current share price doesn't factored anything in for a potential bid! | daveme
26/2/2024 22:40 | Does anyone have any thoughts on likely downside to share price if madison dear born announcement they're not going ahead with purchasing equals? | 66fingers
26/2/2024 12:33 | Paul Hills enthusiasm for Equals has been fully vindicated by company’s stellar profit growth. I’m looking forward to more good news in April and progress on European expansion. Hopefully Paul will again discuss progress with IST on Vox markets podcast. | jias
25/2/2024 17:59 | ...a strange video 'interview' with Richard Crow imo ....I listened to a couple of bits....& it was just the usual blind ramping monologue from Paul Hill ...who then asked Richard Crow for his opinion on that share....who then replied that "no, I never have owned shares in that........" !! ... including Equals ....so, it was just Paul Hill ramping to himself !! in the bits I listed to, ELCO & EQLS. I doubt that many people have got the time to listen to all of the monologue, is it 1 1/2hours long ?! Bloom'in Eck ! Was any mention made of Argentex ?, similar company to Equals, a share that Paul Hill holds & has ramped but which has halved in price ! ------ If there is an interview one might assume that the guest would talk about shares they own or like......not just the presenter ramping their shares !! (Which I guess are shares of companies that pay Vox to promote their shares ! & I think that for every share being presented/ramped by Paul Hill he should have a moral obligation to start his chat/ramp for every share he promoted by saying :- " & listeners should note that the next share is for the company _______ which pays Vox Markets (my employer) & me to promote their shares" | smithie6
22/2/2024 13:21 | This the first trading day in months where we haven't received an RNS | ashleyjv
22/2/2024 10:32 | Trading update less we forget, near £100m revenues, £18m cash and Adj EBITDA in line....confidence in future....so share price IMO still doesn't reflect that let alone any bid premium! DYOR | qs99
22/2/2024 10:09 | IMO, underlying business, despite what will be exceptional legal costs on this failed bid, is in rude health, trading is in line, cash gen must IMO therefore be pretty healthy with all to play for that should hopefully give a meaningful rating on a fast growing business. So unless management are not telling us something, let's crack on and get the shares to £5 in 3-4 years instead?! DYOR | qs99
22/2/2024 09:37 | Brummy Git what is your view mate please? Good morning. | qs99
22/2/2024 09:01 | ADVFN trade reporting is more of a guide than a factual log | ashleyjv
22/2/2024 08:04 | I placed a number of small buy trades near the end of trading yesterday (for grandchildren) at 111 all were shown as sells. | slogsweep |
