Agreed with you, the Europe opening should be very very material to EQUALS if executed correctly.

Let's see, ex bid talks, the TP from brokers was fast approaching £2, so with further progress and cash generation, I'm happy either way, so BOARD either get them to bid £1.60 or above, or tell them to Foxtrot Oscar and move on and execute the plan please.

O can't help bit think that Equals shares are currently very attractively priced, irrespective of whether they are bought by MDP. I would think they are about to.embark upon a strong earnings cycle now they have the licence to move money around Europe, their next stage must be to market its services to prospective clients.

The SR was announced 4 months ago and discussions with MDP still continue. Smoove, another company that I had shares in, went through a similar process last year and that went on for 6 months before an agreed price was reached. MDP have had plenty of time to complete any DD so this suggests that their interest remains strong and that the only matter to resolve is price. Either MDP will come up with an offer that the BoD can recommend or they wont so this timeframe is unlikely to continue to remain extended for very much longer.

Prior to the Strategic review earnings reports were generally ahead of expectations, since the review the reports have all been in line with expectations, suggesting to me that the discussions are unfortunately distracting management's time from focusing on the company.

The going rate for AIM takeouts by PE is circa 30% above pre approach trading price so say 140p here. The share price isn't half way to that level which tells me this bid is perhaps going nowhere but the PE company is talking a good game and Equals must listen but are sceptical.

I agree can't think what IST is doing, fair enough to test the water for a possible bid but if one doesn't come or more interest isn't flushed out why not give up and revert to plan A which was working well enough . I hope IST is not wasting valuable management time on this.

if this wasn't going on it would be a much higher share price on trading IMO!

Find it astonishing they have not put an offer in after 3 months, that is just v. v. poor either on equals or purchaser, either way, this is ridiculous and I say that having worked for a PLC doing deals for 7 years!!!

Results in line with forecasts so pe of 13 is much too low. Should be double that.

More importantly it keeps the pot boiling until 7 days before the 2023 results, which if are as forecast the PE drops to 13 at which point the current and hopefully much higher share price will be self sustaining.

These PUSU 'deadline' posts is the equivalent of watching a herd of stressed-out wildebeests panic over reaching the watering hole before sunset, only to find out it's a 24/7 oasis with a never-ending flow of water and no cover charge.

It does look as if people are piling in just in case we get good news.
I don't think they would take it to the wire if a deal has been struck but I am happy to be proved wrong
