Having finally got to the £1 threshold we seem to be stuck there. Roll on the next TU...

You would have thought that thwvsgroders purchase might move the price up but instead it's drifting down today.

Indeed, I have just added a few on the strength of it @ 100.384 , they are showing as sells at that price but they are buys.

Don’t bother with the Times and its firewall. Just google cab payments and read about its intention to float on the evening standard website. Doesn’t seem to be a direct competitor to equals.

There's an interesting article in the Times today about a company is floating on the stock exchange. From what I can gather it provides the same service as Equals will once it received it's Belgian banking lucence. I'll try and post a link to the article if I can

Last year trading update and interim results were 5/7 and 7/9 respectively. Do we think it's fair to expect similar dates this year?

The RNS said September 2023 but then later on it was reported to be by Q2/2023 with a specific date, if memory serves of 15 June 2023. Having a specific date seems a bit unusual to me; so lets just say by end of June?

However, given that the Belgium Regulator already provided a letter of 'no problem' I can't see any reason for a sustained share price increase following final confirmation.

It would not really start paying off financially for Equals until H2/2024 according to their presentations.

When do Equals hope to complete the purchase of Oonex? Hopefully that will give the share price a little nudge upwards.

Hot air? In this market Eqls has performed really well and barely lifted off! Why wait for 90p, pretty unlikely unless the economy really tanks. In which case it wont be worth being invested in anything.

Yep for me I think we'll see 90p which will provide a good place to start buying back anything that was sold above 100p. For me this is a long term hold of a core position but jobbing a smallish percentage (5-20%) makes sense.

I think that looks likely as there are dark clouds forming across the UK and global economies

clive why "hot air"? Which suggests zero valuation validation on fundamentals and it has been "chased" up?

£180m market cap with growing net cash?

Growing at a phenomenal rate, with a highly scalable product, soon to increase its TAM massively with Oonex getting regulation nod hopefully, and EBITDA fast approaching £20m.

Graph hardly shows it being "chased" higher having paused around the 80p level for over a year?

2023 a pivotal year IMO in terms of proving scalability - if it does succeed, then IMO this will then get chased much higher!!
