09/11/2022 05:32 | Then snippets from the latest videos tell us that owner-operators are now starting to indicate that they will invest in project development earlier in projects as Eqtec have evolved project development and delivery sufficiently over the past 18 months. From Canaccord: Our forecasts include a net inflow of €4mn from the disposal of stakes in and repayment of loans to projects; we note that as of end 2021, the gross book value of EQTEC’s stakes in projects was €12.6m" Eqtec have divested from Billingham, Deeside and Southport in order to preserve cash. We know from Deeside RNS that the interested party there is to cover all development costs should they wish to invest, with the exlusivity period coming to an end on 30th November. | mathieson84

08/11/2022 15:34 | Hi Yump. Have a read of page 11 of this 2021 research note, (link at end) Quote: EQTEC Capital At the earliest possible point, , EQTEC deploys its own development capital to mobilise and deploy a dedicated team, employ critical professional services and pay for applications, permits and insurances critical to evolving an opportunity into a project. This EQTEC Capital approach is now the company’s preferred approach to business development, given the control it gives the company over the quality and pace of work to Financial Close; it is deployed into two types of projects: o EQTEC-only projects; and o Incubation of larger projects for owner-operators whose internal governance does not allow investment in pre-Financial Close work This is essentially risk capital for EQTEC and minimises capital risk for their customer as well as accelerating the work to date on a project to financial close. EQTEC see a return on this capital when the project reaches Financial Close. Much of the EQTEC development capital deployed in this manner has been drawn from their 2020 equity raise and they seek to deploy around €6m a year in a revolving fashion with attractive returns per project. Capital is typically deployed for less than a year before a return on the investment is received, and the company’s disciplines toward Financial Close should shorten this period with time. | mathieson84
