MGM share price is languishing... Deutsche do not even mention Betmgm ex US..MGM confirm it's loss making and not in the same realm as Betmgm US ..Entain and MGM both need Betmgm US , underlying EBITDA is 500m US..on a multiple it's value must be 5BN US ...but the half share is worth more than 50% to MGM..even Deutsche have worked that out..and Betmgm US is not going to get any cheaper overtime..2025/6 will see MGM move imo

Hi macarona, think that maybe on the legal sports report but have a look at the graph on there, whilst they have moved above others betmgm have since April also raised their game and have taken additional share of a larger market with greater hold.

I read somewhere that Fanatics is proving to be a potential threat to BETMGM, having already overtaken Ceasars.

Anyway, I am sure Gavin is aware of all the issues now and has a plan in place to be shared in March.

Yes but this is the reason why more companies are leaving the UK
than joining.

The hedge funds from whichever country is destroying the uk, this
will help the overvalued US companies buying massively undervalued
UK companies to bring the average in line.
This will not stop, I have been rattling on about this for years and years.

Just sell the US stake or list in the US.

Look at the value of Paddy Power compared to Entain.

Like today why are we down when the ftse is flat?

Easy to overlook the FTSE in the last 6 months is virtually unmoved,
Entain is up 11 percent...yes could have been better..but I'll take another six months of the same..

Yes the company has been talked down and destroyed over the past three years, in punishment for turning down a US approach which would have benefitted everyone at 2500p. I have been switching from imb to ent over the past few months and will continue to go do. Entain frse 100 2025: stock of the year.dyor

Glad 2024 is over. ent down 30% and in the bottom 5 ftse shares for 2024.
Surely 2025 will bring more cheer - I think so.

Given Entain are paying HMRC £12.187m a month
In fines right now, under the DPA ,with still 36 months to run...a substantial Aussie fine will likely see this level of cash flow out for a period longer than 36 months.. with an overlapping period likely in 2027... not great but tempered by a growing belief BETmgm US is looking good for 2025 and beyond.
