24/4/2014 16:11 | bb2, Good luck with all that. | shanklin
24/4/2014 16:00 | Guys the last place I'd be putting my cash would be the bank. In fact it's going into property as we need to move house to accommodate a relative who needs to be looked after 24/7, this all happened very fast so to get the move and building works started pronto the cash will be used until we place our house on the market. It may seem hard to understand unless you are in a similar situation when you have multiple issues to deal with and complex location and family issues. No doubt I will be reinvesting at some point in the future. | battlebus2
24/4/2014 15:55 | davidosh "short term 8-10% returns" sounds very decent. Is your money completely unprotected? Apologies for the O/T but 8-10% at minimal risk would be very welcome? Cheers, Martin | shanklin
24/4/2014 15:39 | edsullyjoe.....I was wondering that myself. I have a mix of stocks and bonds that are very high yield ie. 6% to 10% and even have a company that gives me short term 8-10% returns where they lend it onwards to solicitors funding cases that have been won and costs awarded but still to be paid out !! Not often you get good money out of solicitors lol | davidosh
24/4/2014 13:57 | No particular reason davidosh, over time i'm selling most of my holdings and had a great run here from when i first bought at 15p. I still think there's value here but then again i'm saying that with everything that i've sold so far. Hard to pick and choose what to sell for the best, i got lucky with SAL so the opposite is likely here. Good fortune to all who hold its just a personal preference and i do still hold a few building relating co's. | battlebus2
24/4/2014 13:01 | bb2....Just out of interest what made you cull Ensor on a low p/e, property market and building sector on the up and moving northwards, with technocover due a significantly better year and with land sales to bring in cash windfalls !? Just asking ? | davidosh
24/4/2014 12:29 | bb2 Bought a few of your shares today. Hopefully in the FY just starting we will start to see significant benefits from the Technocover acquisition. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
22/4/2014 14:31 | bb2....Why not email me or telephone and we can agree some transfers ? | davidosh
22/4/2014 14:13 | Thank you bb2 If you'd like to create a dip in CRAW, I'd be prepared to buy more there :-) Best wishes, Martin | shanklin
22/4/2014 14:11 | Hi Shanklin I'm selling down most of the portfolio off around 35 stocks to a more manageable amount. Still holding around 20 ATM but declared I'd sold all at MWE and here today. | battlebus2
22/4/2014 13:52 | Hi bb2, So where else have you been and finished selling? Cheers, Martin | shanklin
22/4/2014 12:56 | As part of my on going plans to take a back seat in share trading etc I have sold all my holding here. Good fortune to all remaining holders. | battlebus2
22/4/2014 12:47 | Well this is a bit of a pain. | shanklin
17/4/2014 08:14 | RP19...Thank you for your thoughts. I certainly think that the housing and construction sector picking up considerably and now mooted to be a rippled effect away from the South East should mean more revenues in the core businesses. | davidosh
16/4/2014 21:07 | Hi David. I am a fairly happy holder with a medium to long term outlook. I was a little disappointed with the interim figures but the outlook narrative sounded more positive and the dividend increase was encouraging. From what I have found out from the company I believe that the Stockport land sale is progressing satisfactorily. I understand that planning permission at brackley may take longer to achieve given flood risk concerns from the Environment Agency. There is not a lot of news flow with this one which might be limiting interaction on this board. They say they are a "progressive, if prudent company". I like that. | rp19
16/4/2014 18:12 | That is the first posting in three months....We need some interaction here ? | davidosh
16/4/2014 11:36 | There is a joint ShareSoc/Hardman company seminar in Leeds on the 20th May with Ideagen, Avacta and Getech all presenting. It is the first ShareSoc event in the North of England with no charge for the evening. It would be great to see as many investors there as possible showing your support and to encourage more events like this in the North. For more details and registration for the event go to: hxxp://www.eventbrit Twitter @ShareSocUK | sharesoc
05/2/2014 11:13 | Ensor share price drifting a little, i'd have though water covers and manhole covers would be in big demand once the flooding ends if it ever does!!! | battlebus2
06/1/2014 18:57 | Don't think it was a tip with only 10k traded but we may see some news in the morning. | battlebus2
06/1/2014 17:46 | didn't take many buys to send this shooting up.was it tipped somewhere? | harry the haddock
20/12/2013 14:37 | Yep i see what you mean though i'm not one for charts so rarely understand them. | battlebus2
20/12/2013 14:35 | Is just reverting to the chart trendline bb2 after the spike to 80p, probably a more steady rise from now. | bigbigdave
20/12/2013 14:31 | Turning positive today. | battlebus2 |
