How much is the fpso worth in this valuation of the 15 percent sale ? If another 15 percent sold it would have the fpso included ?

Original article published on Dow Jones English Newswire, translated by the Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor editorial team. (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor Plus) - Milan, Jan 4 - According to Jefferies, European oil and gas producers that have the ability to increase production are best positioned to prosper in 2024, changing its recommendations on several stocks in the sector . “The key performance variable for E&P stocks is visible, risk-free growth in production,” Jefferies analysts write. “Asset quality and access to capital are directly linked to growth potential. Without growth or the means to achieve it, value can truly be a trap.” According to Jefferies, Var Energi, International Petroleum Corp, Aker BP, Kosmos Energy, Energean and Harbor Energy fall into this fundamental growth category and reiterate their buy recommendation for all six. However, Jefferies reduced its recommendation on Capricorn Energy, Pharos Energy and EnQuest from "buy" to "hold", and on Tullow Oil from "hold" to "underperform", indicating limited growth and return prospects (philip.waller@wsj .com).

On a very simplistic basis, I suppose a risked valuation for Bressay could be
£46m/15*100, so approx £300m? Not my forte. Someone on the LSE bulletin board may have a better stab at it.
As far as the FPSO is concerned, AB did express some "after the event" doubts as to the original outright purchase route as opposed to the subsequent leasing route followed at Kraken. No idea what the carrying cost is.

Thanks Steelwatch. Got my ships confused. Any thoughts on the implied value?. My thoughts. The upfront money is for the Enquest Producer 15% because what are the chances of Bressay getting permissions to go to development?. Surely the political environment would effect the value of heavy oil reserves? If not then there is also Bentley.

The FPSO involved is Enquest Producer, (ex-Alma Galia), rather than Northern Producer, (ex-The Dons and undergoing decom, demolition and recycling).

Any thoughts on the implied values of The Northern Producer and Bressay from the recent transaction?

Shuttle ATA: 2023-12-23 05:03, so, assuming c.30 hrs loading and cast off, dispatch tomorrow would be 26 days since previous on 28 Nov.

(ETA posted previously was 21-12-23, but may have been delayed by storms up to force 11 and very rough to high seas in Viking).

Edit 26/12: Confirmed ATD: 2023-12-24 14:05, en route Rotterdam

I first bought the loan notes in the dark days when the company's survival was in the balance. The return has been excellent, and the notes are still bellow par value and pay a very high rate of interest with some capital profit too, all being well. The loan notes still seem to me to be the way to play this company.
