Not a chance of the company going down, much of the sell off today is down to the Swedes. I don't understand the timing of that announcement, it would have been better to issue the results and do a seperate RNS for the Swedish delisting. It will bounce.

The other thing that's patently obvious is that the EPL is killing the UK Oil and Gas industry. It's not driving investment, what Bod would allocate Capex to risky drills whatever the allowance when, if you strike oil or gas, the UK Gov takes most of your profit. I've seen several Oil and Gas companies pulling investments in the UK not increasing them. Enquest should look elsewhere and stick two fingers up to Hunt the ....

It also works against the environemnt since the UK has to import more oil from less clean and often unstable and/or hostile regimes. This is a result of having clueless muppets in Downing Street who just don't understand business, apart from laundering public contracts to their Indian family and Tory donors.

Most of these stocks have poor structured charts, with lots of dead cat bounces and disappointments with equity markets in for a rocky and volatile few months, it’s definitely not a time to buy imo

Not when you can get around 5% on fixed income, cash preservation ahead of troubling markets, which have been treading water all year. Higher rates and for longer.

Why PFC looks good , I hold but not expecting a break of 85p this year

Enquest (85% Operator) is to drill a commitment exploration wildcat on Block 409, adjacent to the PM8/Seligi concession, required to be drilled by year end. The prospect lies in water depths 70-100m. The rig contracted is Borr Drilling's jack-up Borr Idun:



In the event the well is successful, a fast track development could follow tied back to the PM8/Seligi facilities.
