I know there were more buys earlier as a friend of mine picked up on the open for 40. No doubt will be shown as a sell.NMS only 500 and yesterday the 25k buy showed an hour later.
On anyday its best to phone for stock.I was the only buyer on Monday and my broker told me he had difficulty.
I do think they will become more liquid and spread will narrow.

Imay be wrong but Im thinking they have to go up to US prices to enable mms to pick up stock and mms in abit of a predicament ?

Barclays stock-brockers can't deal my order to buy online either - but then thats no surprsie as they are utterly useless. May try through my Halifax account. Is this normal?

Im wondering if they run out of stock if they will have to buy from US ?
If they do they will have to pay 70plus.

Up 83% in first hour

Spread still bad, though only half as dreadful as it was. Only two marketmakers.

COPIED FROM TAN BOARD THANX

"In the first quarter of 2009, Enova received an order from Smith Electric Vehicles U.S. Corporation ("SEVUS Corp.") to deliver at least forty-five (45) P120 systems per quarter, starting in the second quarter of 2009. Enova and Smith have worked closely over the past year to re-align our sell through expectations, both in the UK with Smith Electric Vehicles, and here in the U.S. with SEVUS Corp. We are excited to see the results of these efforts have resulted in additional traction for both Enova and Smith".

Not a flicker of movement in ENV prices on Level 2, and still a horrendous bid/offer spread.

Hi M.T.Glass,was just on my way !

It seems the Americans have noticed and cheered the sevus news !
Lets hope they show their appreciation for tan too !

As posted earlier I bought a few env today,I am hoping tan will do really well this year and I expect env to benefit too.
I will see in the morning if the rise is passed over ?

deb -- Saw your post re its US sister on the TAN thread - worth adding here? A similar 22% rise would add 6.6p to the UK share price.

"Jeff Siegel is the co-founder of Green Chip Stocks, an independent investment research service focused exclusively on "green" markets. He has appeared on Fox, CNBC and Bloomberg Asia, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars"

5 hours ago he posted a report linking the SEVUS news with Enova.

I see Sharescope indicates tomorrow as Annual Results day. Anyone know if that's true? (dates are often pencilled in, subject to confirmation). I cannot access the company website at the moment to check. (EDIT: can now, but no clues there. Website connectivity seems to be a frequent problem)

Market capitalisation is now below £5m, and Sharescope indicates there was a grim looking intraday dip last Monday when it touched 20p.

I see the various images I used in the header have disappeared. They included the emblems of around twenty or more customers. I assume the website has been revamped and the links have gone. I will go check.

EDIT: Ah - images have returned now.
EDIT: And gone again :o/

...The prospects for more electric cars on the road were boosted at the show by the Prime Minister when he promised more government help to build up an infrastructure to allow easier battery-charging. EdF, the French power company, also attended a meeting with Mr Brown, Ruth Kelly, the Transport Secretary, and John Hutton, the Business Secretary, and leading carmakers. Its presence was an indication that the manufacturers are beginning to forge alliances with power companies as they look increasingly to alternative low-carbon sources of fuel.

Carmakers are concerned about the mileage range of battery-powered cars, however, and the lack of infrastructure. They are also concerned about Britain's lack of battery technology and David Smith, managing director of Jaguar and Land Rover, said: "It is important that we develop that and the electric mechanisms that go with the battery."

From the London Motor Show, part of a report in The Times today.
