29/12/2006 17:48 | I hadn't heard of WrightBus till I came to construct this thread, but they appear to sometimes supply FirstGroup and others - so are presumably a serious player. As someone who was concerned that Tanfield were being forced to go with Enova as an emergency replacement for the otherwise-engaged Azure Dynamics, I am pleased to see that Enova apparently satisfy the requirements of some worthwhile customers. | m.t.glass
29/12/2006 14:56 | Thanks MTG - if I had some cash I would be tempted with Enova - but dual listed so not entitled to business assets tax benefits. The orders dated 1st Jan 2008 of Wrightbus.com website are impressive - all diesel powered. I have seen a TV report of an Irish company making hybrid-electric buses - must have been WrightBus. | david77

02/4/2004 22:08 | Has everybody had the 'O' money that was due to be paid 29 March? Just enquired at Barclays about the dosh and they said they had not yet received the cheque!! I will chase again Monday kind regards linhur | linhur
23/12/2003 09:38 | How come the directors are able to buy ORD shares for 25 pence each (see RNS announcements) when the bid / offer is 25-40. My view is that if they could buy them for that they should have had the company buy them back thereby enhancing shareholder value. Remember they are due to be redeemed in April 2004 at about 35 pence each. While not a significant sum of money it still leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. | a0002577
07/6/2003 00:06 | These are very different to other VCTS there are two classes of shares the O and the A shares. the O shares have a net asset value of about 70 pence which is due to be returned to shareholders by the end of April next year - the 35 pence dividend is just part of that 70 pence - as they are now ex dividend purchasing the shares now will not give you that dividend and you are only likely to receive back the 35 pence residual NAV (or thereabouts) Pull the Annual report which has just been published for further details | a0002577
05/6/2003 00:58 | Am I right in thinking you can buy these at 30p and get a divii of 35p by holding them on 6th June? | david.susies
04/6/2003 18:53 | is David correct?...as they have announced a 35p dividend for a 30p share | bobby5
04/6/2003 13:43 | If the info is correct..they earnt 1.29pps. So where is the 35pps coming from? Out of shareholders funds...where else? Hence, no one diving in for a sure kill. Or, at least thats the way I see it. | maxk |
