14/12/2020 13:05 | Yes as I have said I like the negative contribution as it keeps it balanced, the US the very large market is opening up to online betting and we are in a strong position, that has a large value. cm Thanks, I am glad some make sense. | srpactive
14/12/2020 12:52 | Its amazing how quickly people forget stuff. One reason the share price isn't 2000p is that the FOBT machines were limited to £2. This had a direct financial hit. Credit cards not allowed to be used to gamble. Germany restricting gambling. Online FOBT will also go to £2. etc etc. GVC can and will (opinion) continue to thrive despite all this, BUT it does have an effect on the bottom line. Simples... When KA said he HOPED FOR 2000p a share he knew very little of those direct financial hits. It will take longer to get there. GVC just needs a year or two without any regulatory interference and it will get there. IF it doesn't get bought out. | cheshiremoggie
14/12/2020 12:47 | w69, You make quite a bit of sense. srp, sadly you do not. I'm not really a fan (can't stand actually) of nutjob conspiracy theories. The share price is up nicely today - evil mms are manipulating the share price upwards? Soros, Bill Gates and Satan planning to buy and use GVC to inoculate everyone with nanobot gambling genes? I think it is quite possible GVC will get bought out in a future consolidation. GVC should be worth 1600+ in a takeover , but that's an OPINION. I hear the same undervalued rubbish from bulls on every single BB. Everyone thinks their darling share is part of an evil plot to fleece them. Meanwhile, enjoy the ride. CM. | cheshiremoggie

14/12/2020 11:41 | I don’t think that the world is going to end and as I said on the old GVC thread I think that ultimately we will get bought out by MGM. I have said umpteen times that we are undervalued but I also understand that we will have times when short term negative news detracts from the long term story which will see the company being 3x the size it currently is in the next 3-5 years. Unfortunately I doubt that we will still be independent at that time. | wilco69
14/12/2020 11:32 | w69 Which is why I do not filter negative people, love the the worlds going to end contributors. Just balances my gvc are worth xyz. That is why I bought at 360p and 400p approx this year. Mylands who bought at 79p like me used to pull my leg to reign it in when I said years and years ago we will hit 1000p. Now we have 2600p next, in much time. If the bidder is out there put up or shut up is how our US friends put it, isn't it. dyor | srpactive

14/12/2020 11:22 | I have posted newsflow, if you think that I have only ever posted negative stories then you are mistaken. The HMRC story is already in the price, I mentioned it as a resolution would be a positive catalyst. I prefer to be cynical when investing rather than negative. | wilco69
14/12/2020 11:16 | w69 I do not filter, you can if you wish, always good to have a short poster as they post as much negative as possible which shows when they are running out. We have had ids and hmrc so far today what next? Citadel and Cpf must be well annoyed. | srpactive
14/12/2020 11:09 | SRP, just filter out my comments rather than throwing around the childish and untrue comments about me being a shorter or a journalist, and I’ll do the same. IDS is off again - hxxps://www.politics | wilco69
