23/2/2018 21:52 | Good news. I also enjoyed refreshing my memory of the timeline for 17/18 in China. We are moving along nicely with that. | cmackay
23/2/2018 17:09 | Confirmation in AGM presentation in Sep 2017. "Producing assets: Rancho Capay and Los Medanos gas fields. " | safiande
23/2/2018 15:52 | i promised myself not to use spread betting after losing a packet with it during the oil crash. | starzerus
23/2/2018 15:25 | Tarz, You could always place a spreadbet as insurance from a stonking rise in the share price before April. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
23/2/2018 15:23 | News any time will suit me Stewart just trying to be a bit too clever. | starzerus
23/2/2018 15:15 | Oil heading back up makes China even more attractive! | blueblood
23/2/2018 14:10 | Tarz, Yes I have another £20k x 2 to go into our ISA's but to be honest I would be more pleased to see updates and break away from the current Share price, there again I have £120K of tax losses to offset for me so some what covered. | stewart4900
23/2/2018 13:55 | yes just after the new ISA year would suit. ;-) | starzerus
23/2/2018 13:22 | Thanks Saf. Clarity would be good. | jemjem
23/2/2018 12:57 | SGC issued a single company release only yesterday which XST chose to replicate / refer to as appropriate today. No such release from PCL. EME also does not need to issue a release, unless they choose to do so covering its share. The important point is not this production but the status of the Dempsey well where all 4 JVPs will issue harmonised releases shortly viz:- "Sacgasco and its Joint Venture partners have been working diligently to assess the most economic way to monetise the Dempsey well and the JV expects to provide an update shortly." In addition, I hope that EME will issue a qtrly ops update on all 3 projects in early Apr which could include the EME production from the SGC wells for clarity. | safiande
23/2/2018 12:31 | Jem, This is my understanding based on my post to you on 17 Jan:- "It is understood that as soon as they completed payment of their 30% contribution, EME had an interest in several producing assets at Rancho Capay and Los Medanos gas fields. In Oct on the way to the Dempsey site the PG completion rig No 3 undertook a successful re-completion of one of these adjacent JV-owned producing wells at the Rancho Capay Gas Field. These producing wells hold related leases without annual rentals for further appraisal and exploration. SGC has a 14 well portfolio in these fields, 7 of which are in production. In addition EME has an optional 30% interest in the Dempsey trend AMI ( large Dempsey style look alikes ). 3 major prospects identified so far all under lease - EME´s contribution is 60% dry hole cost for Prospect 1 & 45% for prospects 2 & 3). The area extends to 250,000 acres." | safiande
23/2/2018 12:25 | Thanks Brimsley you are an utter lieing c1nt.......... move on | seagreen
23/2/2018 12:02 | Looking back through the last 4 quarterly reports for SGC, my guess would be that we have 30% of 6 wells in Rancho-Capay/Rice Creek East (maybe 11 wells now) of which 5 are in production. The SGC WI has gone from "60-90%" down to "33-50% after the farm-ins , of which EME was 30%. If true, it would be helpful but not substantially significant. Imo | jemjem
23/2/2018 11:49 | Should’ve expected a fall as I bought a few more yesterday! | barony
23/2/2018 10:57 | Toon unfortunately I suspect the answer will be no, hence the lack of RNS. | honestmarty
23/2/2018 10:51 | Should we still not be due an update following on from our partners one the other night? | judijudi
23/2/2018 10:46 | Thanks Brimsley keeping us up to speed your thoughts and comments are certainly helping me with my investment decisions.:) I have e-mailed TK to see if we do indeed have a share and if so exactly what it entails of the Sagasco existing gas fields. | thetoonarmy2
23/2/2018 10:32 | desperate lies from 8p man | starzerus
23/2/2018 10:30 | Lol Brimsley, Perhaps you should read the article and what I said. They found oil, it flows 3750 bopd on natural pressure. Nobody has said it is a producer yet. They are doing more testing on the Block. "If the 17/03 block of the Pearl River Mouth Basin is confirmed to be commercially viable, SK Innovation will be able to establish an oil production platform in South China Sea." In your vain attempts to diss everything SGC/EME relatated you get more desperate, clearly waiting to attack anything that might be remotely positive. Why not just lie down for a while and let everything play out? There's nothing anyone on this bb can do that will change the outcome of any of the projects. Imo | jemjem
23/2/2018 10:28 | I know I don't need to remind most of the learned individuals here, But, I really wouldn't want to be out of this one over the weekend | honestmarty
23/2/2018 10:14 | And then there is SK Innovation a bit further to the east who found oil in block 17/03 last December and now have it flowing. what rubbish read the article these rates are sub commercial sound familiar enjoy | brimsley
23/2/2018 09:54 | While we wait for the China update, there are a few good things happening in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, right on our doorstep... New pipeline completion for Liwan 3-1 which is believed to contain 30 billion tonnes of oil (that's over 200 billion barrels!) and is approx 40-50 miles to the south of our Topaz, which in turn is on a direct line between two producing wells - LH16-2 and LH11-1. LH-11 is described as the largest, and longest producing oil field development in the South China Seas And then there is SK Innovation a bit further to the east who found oil in block 17/03 last December and now have it flowing... Tick tock enjoy :-) Imo | jemjem
23/2/2018 09:04 | Appreciated. ;-) | jemjem
23/2/2018 08:55 | I'm going to forgive you this time JemJem, But you are going on the list. | honestmarty |
