The joint venture is considering the best options to improve production from
the tested sands, which may include fracture stimulation operations. Currently
the well is connected into a nearby pipeline and is producing at approximately
140 MCFD.

So 2.5TCF would give slightly less than 5 times your figure Stew - around £1.00. That would be nice.

Stew / Mark,
Strachan has based his figure on 560 BCF on a risked basis at Alvares. As per bb´s post Alvares top whack is up to 2.5 TCF.

Blueblood, et al

Alvaras,

Took the PCL valuation as per Safi's post of $77M representing 15% interest grossed it up to 100% therefore $512M and then applied our 25% so $128M.

Shares in issue 400M so $0.32 cents or 22.4p per share.

I do think that is low but Strachan will be conservative I would have thought.

IMHO.

DYOR.

Is that on 560 bad? Upside 2.5 TCF or nearly 5 times so c£1.50 or near to TKs 57p per TCF!

Seems very low ball to me given that Alvares is anticipated to be more than twice the size of Dempsey.

Or have I gone drastically wrong?

Latest research report from Strachan on PCL dated 20 Dec 2017 just added to Strachan´s site. Not yet on PCL´s site.

“Assuming that Pancontinental earns a full 15% WI on final drilling of a 560 Pj discovery at Alvares, StockAnalysis calculates a value to the company of $77 million or 1.3 cents per share could accrue if gas has an insitu value of US$0.70 per Gj “

EME´s wi at Alvares is 25%

It's like that with most shares stewart. If there was any logic to it, most of us would be rich.

Cannot understand why these sellers don't wait more than a half penny rise before they sell, I can see why most traders lose money. Once we get news and on at least 3 fronts they will have to pay much more, crazy.

Stew,
It is inconclusive. They stated yesterday that the planning & permitting is progressing which could indicate that the permit application hasn´t been submitted yet? However they intend to complete the fracking by end Mar.
Application package is very detailed so a lot of work to do. Typical package below. They are currently working with top notchers in the area to put it together.
