showme1,Cooper basin is mature - anything meaningful is all but gone or is passed up. Which is why it's left to such illustrious concerns as Apnea and TK. Btw, you posted from some forum the other day 40% Gcos for Wilson. Care to explain independent source of this? Cash

And I wonder why they have all by-passed/missed our potential drill site?

Cash, yeah really dodgy....

The Cooper Basin has the most important on-shore petroleum and natural gas deposits in Australia. The oil and gas window is located 1,250 m below the surface[1] and was originally discovered in the 1960s (although there are larger oil and gas deposits off-shore). The first commercial discovery of gas occurred in 1963.[1] It includes Australia's largest onshore oil field, the Jackson oil field.[2] This field was discovered in 1981. Pipelines transport gas to the major markets of Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney. Overall about 1,800 petroleum wells have been drilled.[1]

The largest producer in the basin is Santos Limited with its main production facility at Moomba, South Australia at the head of the Moomba Adelaide Pipeline System. The oil and gas deposits in the Cooper Basin tend to be fairly small and fragmentary, but highly economical given the relatively low cost of drilling and completion. Overall there are 160 gas fields and 75 oil fields in production containing about 630 producing gas wells and more than 340 producing oil wells.[3] There are many small listed companies exploring for additional deposits in the region. Some of these companies are Austin Exploration Limited, Cooper Energy, Beach Petroleum Limited, Senex Energy, Bridgeport Energy, Strike Energy, Bengal Energy, Acer Energy, Magellan, Impress Energy, Red Sky Energy, and many others.

What I am struggling to understand is why investors are not demanding TKs removal? I mean, how many howlers has this guy had? To lose $2mln with no proper explanation - failure after failure. Missed timelines and Dilution upon dilution....The presence of TK, at this stage, means a colossal discount factor is being added. The only certainty is the cash.He must go, or be made to go. In shareholder value terms, he is toxic.Upon his departure, this looks interesting again and, subject to a restructuring and rebranding, perhaps investable again...Cash

I just saw the price today. it seems just to have been the last trade of the day that caused the largest drop and so with a bit of luck that may be corrected upwards tomorrow.

There has been a very long history of drilling in the area JemJem. That makes new substantial finds harder to come by. To have some hope that there is a decent prospect in the target area I would need to see an independent chance of success report. That may come, and let's hope it does, but without it the Wilson project is not cause for positivity in my view.

It may be straightforward to reinstate the LEI code, but if so why has it been left unaddressed since 2022? There is a pervading dysfunction that appears to afflict company officers. The lost 2 million, errors in RNS releases such as citing the wrong figure for EME's Mako stake, losing Nortrust's holding on the Aim declaration for a period, vagueness about whether CNOOC have an actionable claim against EME or not and not keeping the LEI code validated for Apnea, to name a few.

As I understand it, the more time that goes by the less we stand to gain from Mako and so it would be very welcome if there is some news on that front shortly that lifts our spirits ...and the share price.

This can either x5 /x10 on the sell down figures and other actions coming through ... or goes bust on other matters beating the sell down ... it really is as simple as that. And no one on here knows the answer to which way it will go. Good luck if you stay the journey, don't whine if you don't.

Odillon.
If they need an LEI I'm sure that will be rectified, as it's pretty straight forward to obtain.
As far as the 40% claim goes, I've got no idea where that came from as a "fact" - but it doesn't seem unreasonable judging by the history of the proposed drill area.

Imo

Why are online records showing that Apnea's LEI code lapsed in 2022. How are financial transactions being carried out through Apnea if it is the case that there has been no valid LEI code since 2022?

Where is the evidence that the Wilson project has a GCos of 40% and of who made that estimate? This claim has appeared on at least two forum sites but I cannot find an official reference. If someone has this information it would be very good to see it.
