EME definitelty said (think it was Gaz in an interview) that they will be doing logging while drilling and will give operational progress updates during drilling. As we are only just over a week from TD I would have thought there is a very good chance of an update in the next day or so unless the hole is dry as a bone, which is unlikely given the gas logging.

Have a *unt , Try making representations for yourself and not other 'imaginary' investors. Tell us how you feel about yourself, other than guessing on other investors thoughts - because that is what it is - guessing ! Not accurate information and most certainly misrepresenting all the investors that I know - in which case you are 100% wrong. We have waited 7 years for this - we can wait another 7 days. Buys still consistent. We are easily underpinned by Duyung at the current price, we have hit the Gas clouds as anticipated ... we have increased our success rate to 65% as a result, TD is not for another week/ 10 days. But news could land any day between now and then. GLA !

CNOOC have drilled enough wells in the area to be able to predict within a day or so how long this one will take.. It will be from Thursday 5th/Friday 6th, if it's the 6th then I'm expecting an RNS on Monday 9th..

TD results might well be in on Friday or Tuesday at latest. EME must be with a drill in reservoir or at least first section of it which should tell them about pressure, oil etc as they said they will be logging while drilling...

Drilling started on Sunday 10th April for 26 days if all goes well, which equates to TD on Friday 6th May, so intra day RNS or Monday 9th May.

Everybody is second guessing that the well is ahead of schedule because they hit 2150 after 9 days and RNSd on day 10. If it was forecast as a 26 day well by the drilling company, my money is on them over and above any of us amateurs, even those with seemingly great knowledge.

Those investors putting out their opinions on earlier news have no actual idea of where exactly we are, and they have become somewhat dangerous in that other less well researched PIs are now thinking we should be in the play and should be getting news therefore no news = bad news and I'd better sell some shares...well I only ever heard that no news is good news, so afawk, the drilling is all going good, they are on programme as confirmed in the RNS and we can still expect 26 days to TD ie 6th May. Anything else is an unexpected bonus imho.

I think there probably drilling nice and slow right through the pay section now :)

they have probably only just pulled string out and started again on smaller diameter drill.. EME gave initial guidance on how long it will take if no issues... a bit yet to go imo

If it looks as expected which means positive then Tom could be sorting out funding for testing these days and by the time TD is reached to be able to announce it and get done with it. Brokers would probably be inviting any clients and supporters of Eme to participate in the placing but need to keep info for themselves until it is announced.

If these bigger sells are as a result of that, I can live with it.

If you believe in the saying ‘bad news travels faster than good news’ then EME and its drilling must be doing just fine.waiting 10 more days, or whatever it turns out to be, isn’t really a problem in my view. Just surprised that there has been no GSA comment or a confirmation that EME has come out OK on the mis-deposited $2m that was scammed.

Progress of what at this stage? The company (I would imagine) would not want to be creating false hope at this stage. If they are around 5-10 days from TD the chances are they will wait. The issue will be those expecting oil shows will be selling out on fear as usual, as the silence will unsettle. 88e recently only updated at TD. I honestly do see what there is to update at this stage of the drill other than entering the first oil bearing zone. sadly the longer the silence from Eme the more the stock is likely to drift to 10p or below. That doesn’t mean bad news, simply nervous investors

Looking more likely no further updates until TD. We could also do with knowing what the delay on GSA. Looking unlikely to see an RNS with any “oil shows” imo. More likely news once TD reached over the weekend with news next Tuesday after the BH
