Like this bit--- This year's EPS is projected by the City to rise to 8.85p, giving a forward PER of 6.4. Compare that to the likes of Staffline (projected PER of 11.8), Michael Page (27.0) and Hays (22.1), and the shares look absurdly cheap.

Rather overweight now, but justified on a fcst p/e of 7.15 followed by 6.6! Way below sector peers. Expect a sharp re-rate once the hangover has gone. imo,dyor

Bought in too this morning. Been watching for a while and used to hold at lower levels. Once overhang clears this should really start to re-rate. Currently on a derisory PE.

According to the RNS today, Caledonia had 3,024,264, take off the 2,524,264 trade; that leaves a nice round 500,000. EMR were notified on Monday. If we assume the 200k today was also part of the 3mil, that's the position pretty much gone.

I am sure that will be the rump. There were quite a few traded over last couple of days. The price action today pretty much confirms it and emr could easily put on 10-15 percent now in short order

If 8% to 7% was 200,000 sale.....would 7 x 200,000 be the remaining holding of Caledonia = 1.4m.Just using a basic formula....and ready to be corrected by the more educated on here lol.Nice to see the mark up.....I nabbed a few more but wish I could have got more.....grrrr cash flow !

Yes, let's hope that is Caledonia gone, nicely timed with a new year high. Also nicely spotted, the price became more fluid after the big 2million+ trade, so does point to the previous barrier being removed.

Quality will out in the end I believe, just requires a bit of patience. The overhang is an irritant at the moment - agreed, but it will clear in due course.

From a positive perspective, it's given me a chance to top up with some of my 2015/16 ISA allowance, at this level!

Yes, should have added earlier that SCSW suggested that to them. However, with this overhang on us, will an eps enhancing acquisition help?

AISHAH do you subscribe to scsw? In the latest newsletter they put this suggestion to the FD but his answer was that they had other plans for their spare cash. Maybe a nice eps enhancing acquisition????
