Extrader - you're in good company, Mellon said 7.5p at the recent Master Investor Show. That's quite a difference if you were arb'ing the divvy payout, as I was. :0)

certainly sub 2p at some point, 1.5p may be a bottom, the last time they gambled on red and it came in red, this time its the real deal, green energy related metals hmmmmmm

bit gutted i missed the boat though on the pre ex divi rally would never have guessed the mass of numpties who were keen to pile into the share just before or just after ex divi.

I dont like the sound of green energy comods to be frank, sounds like bull to me.

What is your view on the profits achieved by Dattels et al thus far?

I think we will see some continued selling in EML xd by some which had not done their research, but bought at 3.1p thinking they would receive the Special dividend.

Not sure what gave you the impression that I intended to hold for the "solar metals"? I'll leave that to the speculators, until and unless the discount to tangibles becomes big again. I will continue watching from the sidelines for that reason.

Perhaps you misunderstood my post saying that I did not expect the post-SD shareprice to fall to < 1p, which is what was implied by the share price of 8.25p (and was what some suggested would happen), available immediately after the SD was confirmed. A 2p/share turn (close to 25%) in a fortnight was not to be sniffed at. ;0)

Bang on. Personally I don't mind at all if the founders cash in big time as long as general shareholders are also making good money. D&M are seriously impressive investors, so I'll be buying again once we've traded back to a reasonable NAV disount or until a deal suggests an earlier re-entry.
