09/10/2015 10:27 | I totally agree MDS. LP, so you are happy that our CEO makes a professional presentation to investors and promises a resource update in 2 weeks but does not deliver. And, here we are many months since that presentation and still no resource update ! For a CEO to deliver such a statement and not fulfil that promise is imo not exceptable. Actions such as that from a CEO can be very damaging an have a negative effect on potential new investors. As I've said before, as an operations guy I cannot fault Alberto. I think he is doing a remarkable job. I cannot say the same of my opinion of Alberto as our CEO. Looking at our BOD, in particular the most recent appointments, I feel there is a better suited person to take the reigns of CEO, and as MDS suggests I believe and hope it is only a matter of time. | bigbaddaz
09/10/2015 10:23 | Bigbaddaz. Cheer up. Look to the future and start forgetting the past. LLB and Husbod ( 53701 and 53702) got it right, in my humble opinion. Obviously some very exciting things being discussed behind the scenes to add to the company potential.. Patience will still be required but I am expecting an share price improvement very soon. 09/10/2015 10:22 | Warehouse stocks fell a net 250 tonnes to 305,225 tonnes, the lowest since early-March | lucky punter
09/10/2015 10:16 | Clearly Alberto is here just to restart the mine and the ramp up to full production. At that point he will be somewhere else doing the same thing unless Emed have another similar project to hold on to him. The day to day maintenance of the site does not interest him. If you need constant news to make you feel good then why buy into a developer into a producer. Classic long lead situation, news is coming if you cannot wait move on. | lucky punter
09/10/2015 09:49 | its interesting your support of AL LP, I remember SR being a big support of IQ and deriding me for questioning his clear ineptitude. Now where are the similarities. Under IQ terrible market communication an share price that constantly fell. Under Al terrible market communication an share price that is constantly falling. He is going, its just once the dust settles, however he has done an amazing job getting the mine started and for that he couldn't be praised enough. Lets see if he has learnt any lessons with a cracking up beat RNS very quickly follows the consolidation. Lets face it what Husbod found should have been at least added to our web site with an email referring to it for the shareholders on the communication database registered to the web site. Oh sorry that would be a company thats likes to talk about good news isn't it. Lets wait and see but I suspect Al knows he's going and is only focused on doing what he is good at and thats opening mines. Hopefully we will be able to keep him on as an operational guy with so many other opportunities the company could exploit in the future | mds2028
09/10/2015 09:27 | Copper surges on Upbeat Demand, Low USD... | illuminati1
09/10/2015 08:59 | I see no reason for consolidation to make any difference to the share price. The value does not change and it is likely to attract new money to Atalaya. If people think it will go down because some others have in the past then maybe they should sell now and buy back in on the fall. I suspect some have done that already. I can see absolutely nothing wrong with Alberto's performance as a CEO; I think he has been outstanding. The achievements are massive and it is no coincidence that the mire Harry left this company in was washed away when Alberto arrived. Whinging and bleating about news flow is pathetic you can only release it once and the Emed share price has held up well against others. | lucky punter
09/10/2015 08:42 | The only way our share price holds post consolidation is if some positive news is released around the same time, IMO, and it's not as if we aren't sat on any ! If our BOD choose not to update the market in a professional manner around the same time then I foresee a 'temporary ' tick down. Judging from the past 12 months, and Alberto's capabilities of being a CEO imo, I am not very optimistic. | bigbaddaz
09/10/2015 08:35 | thanks to small holding on iii, a very encouraging read! hxxp://www.20minutos | mds2028
09/10/2015 08:25 | Thank you for the mature reply LP, as you have picked up on, I didn't quite get the connection re teh 'high grade multi metal complex' situation and implications. However as CuFe has pointed out, your reliability has become as good as the (thank god) missing SR. So unfortunately I must start to consider any post you add to the BB as not necessarily an honest gentlemens post for the EMED BB community. However I do appreciate the maturity of your reply, rather than some of you dismissive styles of the past. For those that are chartists or like to see positive guidance through charts, we are coming to a crossroads on our chart very soon. However with the consolidation coming I can see that where the chart is going to reach a point of break out or carry on with its down would trend, I would unhappily suggest with the usual excellent communication skills of EMED (will this leopard change its spots?), I see the chart indicating the potential of a further fall. Then again I just looked into my tea cup and the leaves are all smiling at me. | mds2028
09/10/2015 08:25 | Alberto could have been lying ........ ...... After all, he promised the Resource Update ' in 2 weeks' , now which month was that when he made the statement ;-) | bigbaddaz
09/10/2015 08:07 | Hmmm, interesting point CuFe. Who to believe!?? | frogkid
09/10/2015 07:34 | Copper has squeeked over $2.40/lb, which is a good deal better than 2.25, and heading the right way for us..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
09/10/2015 06:34 | VED results out and they are singing how they have managed to get one quarters copper production in Zambia down to $1.90 C1 cost from $2.13. | waterloo01
09/10/2015 06:06 | AL said at around 21:20 on the webcast . . . over 10,000 tonnes of concentrate on site . . . we have not shipped any because the specifications are not perfect . . . lucky punter 18 Sep'15 - 15:04 - 53396 of 53687 1 3 The concentrate produced today is of a quality good enough for sale, that is why they are trucking and selling the concentrate. They are still telling the market that full phase one capacity will be January but that will be beaten by several months. The process is running 24/7 now. They will disclose full commercial production once ramp up is complete. Emed's action on the PR front are aimed very firmly at institutions and HNWi. | cufes2
08/10/2015 22:45 | MDS the important aspect of the high grade multi metal complex ore is that it is outside of the current resource, outside of the off-take and will be without major investment. Emed could never economically produce from it without much more work and expense so it makes sense to toll it with Trafigura 25 kms away. Even if Emed just made a few hundred million out of it the deal is still good for just digging it out of the ground and trucking. That certainly is not anywhere in any current valuation. | lucky punter
08/10/2015 17:00 | CuFe, how dare you question LP, you know very well that he knows everything and that he is, in fact, a superior being to us mere mortals. | frogkid
08/10/2015 14:24 | Did I misunderstand the presentation but I thought AL said they could not process the more complex ore through current equipment but they were building a new crusher that would segregate this material successfully? | acamas
08/10/2015 13:47 | Perhaps it is just a case of "production runs" ie using the existing plant now calibrated for the lower grade to process that and then addressing the San Dionisio and San Antonio ore later. There is, of course, a whole second gossam processing plant, but this may have been cannibalized. Did the 50% sale by Trafigura, for Aguas Tenidas go through? That would clearly affect any ability to do deals/integrate with Emed ongoing. C | charlieeee
08/10/2015 13:24 | Who knows but it sounds like it's high content complex ore with significant value?Same stuff as Traf have but much higher content I believe? | shortarm
08/10/2015 12:56 | Oh I see thanks Shortarm its actually them process ore we haven't the equipment to do. Didn't quite grasp that bit, however does that add much value to what we are doing and our revenue stream? | mds2028
08/10/2015 12:37 | Lucky punter Before you start accusing others of posting supposed nonsense on here you need to think about the inaccurate information about shipping and sales you have been posting IMHO . . . Pot, kettle and black and all that . . . | cufes2
08/10/2015 12:25 | MDS, The complex ore that would need a whole new plant will be processed at the Traf plant that has the correct equipment to do it....Make sense yet? | shortarm |
