I agree Cufe it's a possibility, but so is a move to the main market, in time. IMHO

Thanks for that and I appreciate you taking the time to post . . . I've been around these BBs for some 15 years and I've been ripped off by BODs a couple of times . . . once because I got too close to a director and fell for his BS . . . the second time was when the BOD put a company into admin (illegally IMHO) and then bought a profitable subsidiary for one pound . . . hence, I always try and warn others of all the potential possibilities and pitfalls . . . like most on here I'm trying to share knowledge and help . . .

Yesterday tedoby2 asked about a potential placing to which I replied and added “if their combined shareholding goes over 75% then I think they will eventually de-list the company” . . . then I get attacked by a number of posters . . . I don’t mind this one little bit as debate very often leads people to new insights . . . however, I didn’t see a single cogent argument as to why this may not be a possibility . . . and that’s the key word . . . de-listing is not a certainty but it is a possibility whether some posters like it or not . . . I have consistently said a takeover by Trafigura was good but any form of control over the BOD and the company is bad . . . and this along with other reasons is why IMHO . . .

Acamas. I am posting this to acknowledge your question about the RNS directed at me,however the post #41336 from Lost Horizon sums up my view as to the possible make-up of the Board over the next months. Not sure as to how much protection it gives us but I hope it is their intention to work together to take the company forward as a listed company and not towards the delisting as promoted by some.

It will be interesting to see who gets the non-executive position though.

I saw ARMS this morning and was interested in it because I own some OXS, which is awaiting an arbitration decision too . . . I haven't checked but it is claimed ARMS have a quite a lot of debt . . . if you want an out and out gamble take a look at OXS . . . it is being represented by Calunius on a no win no fee basis that involved them doing a lot of DD before taking the case on . . . the legal argument has finished and it is claimed it is all about quantum now . . . you could lose everything or get a significant return on your bet IMHO . . . not one for widows, orphans or your worst enemy . . .

I am assuming that no news on permits today, so let down yet again, and bid now 5p. I would be over the moon with 15p right now.

Hi cufe

IMHO you are one of the sharpest cookies posting on the board.

Something else that isn't generally commented on is how helpful you are. More often than not, if there is a difference or uncertainty about some obscure detail, it is you who takes the trouble to check old RNSs and post a link.

And there was one time in particular when I posted a question to general derision and you were the one who tried to see what I was getting at and help me out. Thanks - I mean that.

But IMHO this ongoing argument is not about whether the company is going to delist or not. It is about being the One Who Is Right.

It's a frame of mind we all get stuck in from time to time. IMHO let it go.

LH,

Thanks for that.

That is an even number (6 members) perhaps with a neutral chairman we should have one more person for voting purposes. I guess it will all come out in the wash.

Hi Acamas

"Would anybody like to spell out how the Board will look come next March, please"

I read the RNS to mean that after the financing Traf's loses its temporary observer status and gets to nominate a permanent director, so does Orion, XGC keeps their seat on the board and there's a vacant post for another director.

So - the 3 institutions, a neutral chairman and CEO, and somebody else. IMO that's not a bad balance and is something of a protection for us PIs.

Trafigura had US$3.7 billion in cash and cash equivalents on their balance sheet as of 30 September 2014 according to the 2014 results . . .

BBD, where do you see the advantage for not leaving your purchased gold in vaults?

BBDThat's a good point you make, but for some buying ingots online will work out cheaper than travelling to buy.

Wanderer I agree with your above post.

I have already started to add some gold stocks to my PF, and am considering purchasing bullion.

I have done so in the past, always taking my purchase with me and not leaving in vaults, purchase in person and not trading through a website !
