19/12/2007 17:53 | directors recently bought, also recent institutional buying. its at bargain prices and can go up as quickly as it goes down. if you know you are in cheap you can afford to relax and be patient. | anarchodude
19/12/2007 14:16 | Not long till we reach £2.00!!! Amazing how an unsubstantiated price drop recommendation can be used to manipulate a price. 99.99% trades are on sets. | highlander2
13/12/2007 15:37 | One tick forward - two ticks back!! £2.00 by 16.30? PREDICTABLE!!!! | highlander2
13/12/2007 14:32 | A £2.00 target price is mentioned - so the MM's slowly march the price down using the current market trend as an excuse. ECM worth more than this! 99.9% AT trades make a mockery of this price drop. Divi value lost to most short term holders!! | highlander2
13/12/2007 13:49 | at these prices i will be reinvesting my divi. | anarchodude
12/12/2007 16:56 | Fed & Banks to improve liquidity in US. Should be good news for ECM, etc. Not bad divi either due Friday 14th - I think. | highlander2

10/11/2007 09:53 | Payinmg out all profits in divis is not a good idea and the divi was only guaranteed a few years. What then. Sell ECM and Buy EKT. | ba5hir is back
09/11/2007 15:53 | Markets crucifying anything that is not 100% upbeat/flying upwards at the moment. Expect this to bounce just not sure when? Good Divi still. Good growth. | jimmycarter
09/11/2007 10:38 | Looks a bit expensive to me now, pe around 18? | royaloak

09/10/2007 08:47 | Prudential bought another million | evo8
27/9/2007 15:35 | Good results continue. Biggest chunk of the business seeing double-digit growth, esp. 12 pct in North America and 15 pct in Asia Pacific while the gross margin is around 50.1 pct. Cracking dividend too. Glad to hold. | evo8
13/8/2007 13:28 | Didn't last long, a 30p+ spike and back again. MMs roasting a big shorter as he tries to close out? | lefrene

06/8/2007 13:16 | Afternoon all or even anyone. Couldn't help noticing the share purchase by a director and whilst it is not exactly a small fortune he has spent on shares, it does show confidence. More importantly to me is WHO the director is, namely Rupert SOAMES whom, I see, became a non-ex. director just a month ago. He is the current Chairman of Aggreko (AGK) and since joining them in 2003, has worked wonders with that company (check it out). AGK are providers of mobile temporary power and clean air systems all over the world and their most recent contract is the exclusive rights to supply the power for the 2008 Beijing olympics. He is a very honest and outgoing Chairman and is not afraid to tell things as they are rather than 'flannel with words' good or bad. To me his appointment looks to fit in nicely with ECM and I have no doubt that his influence on a global scale will do this company proud. I now have them firmly on my radar and will be buying in at the first signs of movement north. Regards PF | peaeff
13/7/2007 13:14 | Double digit growth in international, 50% margins and whopping div : that will do me nicely (even if div cover a bit thin). Perfect ISA stock. Remaining a long term holder. Thanks Studhaves for the insight into component situation. We're at the other end, buying components to support our manufacturing growth. Very busy this year. | evo8
13/7/2007 08:24 | ECM has 3 distinct geographical markets with their own catalogues - run almost as autonomous businesses. They are UK, FR, & DE - so yes, Germany directly benefits RS. | studhaves
12/7/2007 21:31 | Germany is doing well which will presumably help UK industrial exports as Germany is a sizeable destination for UK firms. Hopefully ECM will benefit. Nice rise today. | fardistanthills |
