That's not entirely fair Curry and most decisions will be overturned on appeal IMO. The problem is that individual councillors do not do their job properly. They answer the question "do you want this project to take place?" instead of the question they were actually asked "are there reasonable grounds to refuse it?". The electorate are then happy with their councillors , oblivious to the fact that it will end up going ahead (albeit delayed by a couple of years) and cost them money in the form of compensation. What is needed is a review of the procedural framework regarding projects being put forward.

In a couple of months the UK will see huge price rises in gas and electric costs..

It should be made clear in no uncertain terms that the tree huggers are entirely to blame for pushing us into this situation.. We need some main stream media pointing the finger at these councillors who have refused permissions against their experts views

Now is this time they should be sending in the lobbyists to get them to reverse their decision on fracking. If ever this country needed its own stable gas economy-it is now.

According to Companies House website, John Rix was an Egdon non-exec director from November '07 until December '11. It looks to me as if he has recently topped up his holding by 0.1%, or by about 500,000 shares

Same again. Looks like a sell based on price, BUT there's no record of it on the book.RSP has last trade at 17:08:14 which was 390,888. I can't seem to add photos in here from the app. I'll post on Twitter.Also, price action and fast tick up doesn't indicate a seller.
