And it still happens today take Langbar. The stock exchange is under no regulations at all.
I think that if we got a group together and floated a company called LSEF
(London Stock Exchange Fraudsters)and retrive our money.

Good evening folks,
Can I just give you a resume' of how I got involved with Energis. I was tipped Energis by a fund manager. It had a billion pound turnover, was in the footse and had just negotiated a 780 million extension to it's credit facilities. Within two months it annonced it could not meet its bond coupon and we all know what happend after that. The question to ask is how can that happen in a well regulated finacial market. I still think what happened stinks and is no credit at all to the way we regulate our stock market companies.
Have a nice day
Regards
Finmac

So its now official, I've been well and truly screwed and I received 2 pages of tripe today, which tells me so, unamazeingly the "administrators" have been getting paid all this time just waiting for the day they could send this notification out! - Don't know about hanging my cert in the toilet, today's notification has brought home to me just what a toilet this game is!!!!

See RNS
CEO's share sale should add some liquidity and hopefully institutional interest.

the ENERGIS debackle continues.....this time threateneing to beak up the mighty Cable and Wireless...from todays broadsheets.

Cable & Wireless inched higher by 2p to 109.75p after Charles Herlinger, its chief financial officer, stepped down. He had taken much of the blame for C&W's January profits warning, when a substantial chunk of its UK earnings had to be rebooked as non-recurring.

C&W also fleshed out its plans to split into two autonomous boards, a move it flagged last month. Investors see this as the first step to a full breakup of the group.

Separation could provide C&W more transparency and balance-sheet flexibility, analysts argue. It could also kick-start bid speculation: C&W's UK division has been suggested as appealing to industry competitors, while the international business is more likely to attract private equity due to its strong cash generation.

ps...back in the days when ENERGIS was makng a loss...it as called a loss....now it`s called non `re-curring earnings`.......this is the problem when you have accountants with degrees in the science of rhetoric...who can `prove` that black is white and a loss is a profit.

i`ve come to the conclusion that we`re not going to get any money back......
any body that envokes the `Almighty`s name ,ie,Energis and uses it unjustly....must stand up and be counted...the Almighty works in mysterious ways.....we`ve not heard the end of this company yet.... we wait to see how the Almighty will vindicate all the original shareholders......so far so good.
