Good afternoon all,

If I have understood the capital structure of Chelys correctly, if C & W acquire the company for £700-800m it will mean Messrs Norman and Pluthero getting about £2-2.5m each, the banks being repaid fully or nearly in full, but with nothing over for anybody else.

The former bondholders of Energis (now Chelys shareholders but ranking behind the banks) will be less than delighted with this. No doubt they are taking advice, and if there is any chance of a deal at that sort of price being blocked that is what they will pursue.

We might, ironically, see the former bondholders and shareholders in Energis sharing common cause.

ref JakNife...`a rose by any other name`...but £167m is still going to a handfull of individuals...some who were part of the Energis Regime...and had shares to the value of £6m the company and are about to reclaim that`loss`....you can call it what you like, this is the only time we seem to be in agreement...`tosh` describes it adequately.
