Ok, just read the last 1000 or so posts, even the more colourful ones. Very common theme, over promise or lie and under deliver. No explanation as to why there seemed to be no motivation to sell unwashed coal. Oh well fingers crossed for next week

From the RNS "Following commissioning, the wash plant will process material to fulfil requests for coal that have already been made." - so to me that suggests small scale local demand is going to be satisfied this week. No idea of the price but normally small orders cost more per unit than large ones. But it will be an income.

Then we have " Several major industrial users have also requested test shipments and we will be dispatching these over the coming weeks." - so if the report on the qualities of the coal is accurate, then we should be able to haggle a reasonable price .

Links for price of coal

From previous company RNSs I'm sure I saw the figure $30 mentioned. Am I missing something? As from the links it looks like a 100% markup is certainly possible from just supplying the coal. Other than it being Tanzania there must be other issues.

dbno. Well said. It's what I have said too on numerous occasions, only to be shot at by the mass of rampers here. He seems the weakest link in the chain, but creaming a fortune in wages and bonuses over the years and into the future as he has and is here, he won't be going anytime soon.

It is beginning to look as though nothing will send this share price markedly upwards until Rufus is shown the door and told to empty his desk.

Market decidedly underwhelmed ! But TBH any other news would have been very poor. It is all about contracts, they have to now prove they can actually sell some coal ! Then and only then will the company have any value. GLA

Totally agree with the above posts, but I suppose the news we had this morning was expected. We would have got hammered if there had been a delay.....a no win really.
But this is a big step forward for EDL and everything is now in place.
We just need the contracts going forward,as 1MadMarky posted "it's a show me the money situation". Once we reach that stage it should be go go go.
I would have thought this is a great time to add, but I have enough already.

With such a low mcap with all the coal they got , just hold and wait and eventually were make some good money.

Agreed, derisked a little more. I guess it's a show me the money situation. Once money is coming in the share price will react.... hopefully

Really can't understand people selling on that news, within a few weeks to a month were probably have potential buyers of the coal then generating revenue

Not time to be selling these at all. All the best to the serious holders. Will be adding more with this news if the price drops.
