Coal imports blocked soon so EDL will have the backing of the government and a ready made market for the coal.

Yes. I'm not sure why the market has this languishing below 1p. Compare it to Kibo, EDL are in a great position.

Interesting progress in the last few days. News on the horizon, can it hold? Or will it drop away like it's always done

This is still the old .00025 -0.000275 range it is far cry off the 0.0009p that I invested at 1.5 years ago. It will have to quadruple in value from hear for me to just about break even. I live in hope....

Let's hope so JP. It has been a long tunnel, but hopefully there might now be some light beginning to appear at the end of it.

Placing was inevitable, but at least it wasn't as low as I and others thought it was going to be, going by the bod's dire history on placings. I would hope that this is the last placing they will need and the £500000 will be used to finaly get some coal out of the ground, some contracts signed for the coal and finance put in place to cover future cost of power plant. I can see Edl either farming out rukwa or brining on board an experienced partner who will want a hearty chunk of edl's 100% ownership of rukwa. Still, it could have been so much worse and maybe the corner has been turned here.

OK, I got it wrong about the placing, but things are different now.

You've let the cat out of the bag Sausage. I didn't want JP and stevie050 to know about that yet. They'll only find some reason to slag it.

Can anyone explain to me why the granting of a 'prospecting licence' 10884/2016 on the 22/09/2016 (6 days ago as I type) covering 30.1 sqkm and for coal, alongside the existing mining licence 562/2016 which now states 'Pending Enlargement' doesn't necessitate a RNS to the market?

hxxp://portal.mem.go.tz/map/

Seems we have a new prospecting licence for coal covering 30.1sqkm. Would be nice for Edenville to tell us.

7 am RNS Thursday?

And we all no how edl operate. They give a bit of good news out to hook some more mugs. Then hit everyone with the inevitable below share price placing. Same old same old
