Agree, I'm expecting the 50,000,000 + buys to start soon as people wake up to the fact that Edenville are sat on $7bn worth of coal in a market closed off to imported coal.

£2.7m market cap for this truly huge resource, with a mining licence, in a market closed of to overseas competition, in a country crying out for cheap energy, is a no brainer in my opinion.

Steady stream of buys coming in, and only a 10% spread. How long can the mm hold this back? Revenue generating deals being discussed on as we speak.

So the Tanzanian Government issued a Directive on 10 August 2016 to all Tanzanian coal suppliers and customers. The main points from the Directive are that all imported coal from outside Tanzania is to cease immediately. There is now in place a blanket ban on imported coal; (hxxp://www. di rec tor s tal k . com/intra-energy-welcomes-tanzanian-government-coal-initiative/)

It is expected that as a result of this directive, IEC subsidiary Tancoal Energy (Tancoal) sales from its Ngaka mine will double in the second quarter of FY17. Its 70% owned Tancoal mine (30% owned by the National Development Corporation) HOWEVER it is the only significant and fully operational coal mine in Tanzania. Let me state that again, it is the only significant and fully operational coal mine in Tanzania. (hxxp://www. miningreview . com/news/tanzania-government-ceases-coal-imports/

Edenville are sat on 173mt of burnable near surface coal coal, Edenville have a mining licence and an EIA certificate to mine. They have all the permissions required and support from the Tanzanian gov't/authorities to dig the coal up and sell it to create revenue.

Tanzanian coal consumers have until the 28 August 2016 to enter into supply contracts with coal miners. Edenville has already requested and received several quotations for mining and associated infrastructure work at the Project site. Edenville are currently reviewing these along with talking to other possible contractors and suppliers for the project. Edenville are discussing with various potential customers their future requirements. Remember the Tanzanian MEM has stated 28th August to get the deals in place. With a ban on imports coal users will be using their reserves/stockpiles to burn while deals are struck, then coal customer orders must give at least 20 days’ advance notice before pickup of coal. So they have to wait 20 days to get their hands on the coal, I can only imagine what coal consumers are doing now to get deals in place.

Coal is currently approx $40 a tonne on 173mt of coal. Most will go for the power station I agree, but you do the maths.

Might be easier to get funding now, no.?
Does anyone here think they might just be waiting to be taken over, rather than a JV.
With near $7b worth of coal with no imports now, must be someone looking to take it over.
Company would be worth more if it was actually producing a fair amount though.
Some forward payments for coal would help I guess.
Does anyone know what the demand for coal in Tanzania is vs current available supply.?

vatnabrekk.Kibo are predicted in the eye of existing investors to leapfrog a mining licence headed straight for a 'Special Mining Licence' that is granted only to projects that attract the massive investment that is envisaged with the Kibo / Sepco partnership & advanced plans... That is why investors in Kibo are relaxed about not having a licence equivalent to Edenville as I write. Well done to holders here of course & here's to the difference our investments will make to Tanzania!

Well I got that wrong - I sold out last week!
I'm still invested in Kibo, and I don't understand why their share price hasn't gone up today on the strength of this news. As far as I can see, they are in the same business as EDL.

I think that's what we have. The mcap is out of whack by a far bit. Should be £10m at least.

Buy the fear on friday.
Not enough volume. considering the amount of shares in issue. You need 2bln plus days to get this moving up properly.
A change in sentiment is needed here.

Those who sold Friday are waking up to a 28% increase. Surely management knew of this positive development on Friday. I don't think you can trust the market here as the rises will come out of the blue when everyone thinks all is lost. At least there is more news to come of substantial project development. Sell at your peril.

Gosh! how far can this go with such a tiny mcap. Most houses in London are worth more than this.

This company has consistently driven the price down bu placings and less than exciting news...this phrase they use...'We hope to have significant updates on the status of the project shortly and the Company is currently advancing various workstreams in parallel with discussions with government authorities and potential partners.'....I hope is a signal that we will receive more share supportive updates...though worried we may be open to another share placing after the consolidation..time to obtain investment from outside the company's hard pressed shareholders!
