How does that help you and why on earth would it bother me ..!? I suggest you look back in here in 3 years' time and you will see just how far things will have progressed. Until then there ia nothing more to be said..... so I will leave you to enjoy your strange past-time.

The MO of a paid de-ramper is to be the first and last post of the day.

Investing here is simple. I will be happy if it does well but if it does badly I will be unhappy if my investment never recovers. It really is that straightforward. The name of the game in the small cap market is to preserve one's capital. I am invested in Eden because the downside risk is now much reduced because the products are selling in increased quantities worldwide and that process is unlikely to reverse. On good margins too

Eden have got farmers around the world buying product marketed by one of the true global leaders in agriscience. Eden sure have got a lot of people fooled! I am not sure why you have a gripe but presumably only because you are an inexperienced investor who bought in too much too early on hype without understanding that pre-revenue companies need cash and in Eden's case the regulatory barriers are very long and costly. That's now a helpful and valuable moat for your investment and mine though.

Investing is a tricky game. I would say to that, How long is a piece of string? Eden originally hoped the insecticide submission would be ready in 2023 but it missed that aspirational target - and they really can't be certain how long it will take, By all accounts though it must be close to being ready. My guess Is that they will want a confirmed partner on board at the time of submission to lend backing and to help grease the bureaucratic wheels

On the 9th of October 2023 in the following Proactive video at circa 7 mins

SS say's "We anticipate moving into the regulatory phase in the not too distant future"

I don't know what that timeframe is, but we are 3 months on from that statement.

Eden doesn't have to RNS regulatory submissions

Is the regulatory phase 1 or more than one country?

If we haven't submitted, I would imagine that must be happening soon based on this statement.

I wonder if Eden needs or wants to appoint a distributor(s) before submission or whether they will do it on their own as it is their own product based on their own 3 AI's.

Any opinions?

I too am unfeasibly bullish on Eden after many years of being completely lukewarm or even negative. My main reasons are as follows:

1. The wider market lost interest a long time ago. It will only react positively when it sees firm and sustained evidence of growing sales and profits.

2. Eden’s management are naturally inclined towards conservatism in giving forecasts due to their past mistakes. In particular, the management has expressly stated that it does NOT add into its future sales forecasts any expected revenue contribution from anticipated new territories, disease targets and crop labels until they have been added.

3. The impact of Covid has supressed sales, and hence the historic sales picture may appear somewhat worse than it is (i.e the growth trajectory may have been artificially slowed down)

4. The lean years of Covid has though provided valuable time in which for farmers to ‘trial’ the product, for inventory to be built, and for marketing efforts to ramp up.

5. Eden has market leading products (Mevalone).

6. Eden does not stand still because increasing regulatory restrictions (MRLs) coupled with greater public awareness amounts to increasing pressure each year towards adoption of adopt biopesticide solutions.

Successful pre-revenue investing takes extreme patience, and plenty of luck as well as judgement. It does though feel that Eden’s fortunes are at last about to turn. Good luck to all.

I too noticed that comment and other suggested / implied comments of slightly better than projected performance from the core products.

Eden for various reasons has always been somewhat hard to tie down to hard numbers - probably because they are unable to influence a number of the critical drivers of these very numbers. Furthermore, I am sure they are trying to develop an under-promise over-deliver performance and want to be known for that - i.e to beat market expectations. As ever, I think they will be able to do that going forward. Nevertheless, as I hope/expect a Trading Statement tomorrow - I am now anxious that my hopes are not too far removed from reality. Time will tell.

Thank you AttyG

I am registered with Research Tree which gives me access. I am currently struggling to understand how the official figures are not too low.

Ps. We were both long time followers on the MW site.

3 May 2023 (8 months ago) at the Master Investor show:

@ 14:55 onwards: ".... We are rapidly approaching that status we see in the left hand column)"

The quoted figure for Mevalone sales in the left land column is 3m euros. So, I am bullishly looking for results to beat current market forecasts.

Go to Eden Research's web site.
Click on the three horizontal lines on the top left hand.
Click - Investors
Click - Analysts Reports and Investors videos
Click - the second top entry - Eden Research - California Approval for Mevalone

If you are not already registered with Cavendish then you will be asked to register.
Simple process, no money or significant personal details when I did it.

If you have not already done so, then read the notes with more than 6 pages.
There is a lot to read - there is a lot of potential.
Likely there will be a more than 6 page note when the Company provides a Trading Statement - highly recommended you register.
