09/1/2024 07:50 | Many will doubtless have heard this aphorism, but it was new to me when a nephew told me over a Christmas meal. In business it is important to follow the three Ds Decide Delegate Disappear While the public authorities operate in the following way. Get to work on time Leave on time Take you time. How it took so long for us to obtain this approval is a mystery - but we now have it. The commercial business at Eden is only going to get bigger. "You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" comes to mind. Let's see how long this takes. Can't please all the people all the time - shame for neutered - ha ha | ![]() attyg
09/1/2024 07:15 | And GREAT news about Mevalone in California. As I predicted, again a few days ago, approval for this was overdue and could come any day, and low and beyond came about 3 days later!! Two pieces of three bits of good news now come through. Next will be news of the insecticide. | ![]() kittybiscuits

07/1/2024 22:08 | I agree with you about the AG distributors presence and was wondering if a USA team is for non crop protection market representation. Perhaps TT related ?? | ![]() supersonico
07/1/2024 21:32 | I doubt they'll have a big USA team as alluded to in the Placing RNS and appropriation of funds. Their 'team' in my opinion will be their distributors with all of the money and influence they are able to employ. Naturally though, they can't be in a market the size of the US without any direct representation, so perhaps one or two people with relevant gravitas. | ![]() investingisatrickygame
07/1/2024 20:52 | Investing, From memory the reference to Eden as a 'consolidator' came from an article quoting Smith where he described how he anticipated Eden's future role with the whales. What I'm mostly pondering is the proposed function of the USA team. Any thoughts? | ![]() supersonico
07/1/2024 11:32 | Super, the likes of Corteva and Syngenta if you are right, will find companies like Eden, but not restricted to Eden, 'profile cleansing' and an example of how they are going about change for a greener, cleaner future, that satisfies farmers, regulators and consumers. For these reasons, their level of 'influence' may be even greater with regulators and the speed to market may well improve. So you often mention Eden as a consolidator. I would suggest they are an enabler to a better future. This may well result in consolidation too. Eden's very underused strapline 'The Natural Solution', could, where appropriate, be used by one of the big boys for greater product acceptance and adoption. It could also be used more in Eden communications as an anchor point to the Company and what they do AND represent. | ![]() investingisatrickygame
07/1/2024 09:34 | Investing, 'Influence' ..that's exactly the right word. | ![]() supersonico
07/1/2024 09:00 | Point well made Super. Im pretty certain Eden commented in 2023 that moving forward the regulatory process should quicken (maybe label extension as Eden's AI's and Sustaine are known and approved in many places) and so maybe a combination of big boy influence as well as existing approvals in place. | ![]() investingisatrickygame
07/1/2024 08:45 | The assumption that their is the same regulatory friction for companies outside the seed world / agrochemical cartel that their is inside is misplaced imo. The confidence Corteva had in 2021 of a 2024 planting season for Ecovelex should indicate that Eden are now inside the tent and the old less predictable time frames don't apply. All the insecticide players that Eden are working with I anticipate are at the main table, well inside the big tent and subsequently have their arms deep upandinside the regulatory process. 07/1/2024 01:05 | Hey Investing, I think we both agree on the ultimate outcomes and certainly the potential, but I do disagree with your timeline. I have been in Eden just over a year now, but following for multiple years, way before the Corteva deal was announced and what I have learnt over that time is everything takes longer, both the regulatory approval and especially market penetration and meaningful sales. California approval being a prime example. For Ecolelux, Italy approval is great and many more countries/regions may follow suit, but the official timeline is at least another 12-15 months, meanwhile Korit is approved in many countries, including the UK. Hopefully other emergency approval will be granted and each is a bonus, but I see 12 months on the horizon and a good few months beyond that before we hear/see evidence of how good sales will have been, albeit we can speculate and guesstimate as each country comes 'online'. On the plus side, Corteva seen really keen for a label extension to cover other seeds and I'm sure that'll be submitted as soon as possible, again, taking into account that will need regulatory approval. Corteva must be also looking at sustain and how that could be used/applied to other seeds outside of bird repellant, but that is pure speculation on my part but I cannot believe that they are not at least considering it/looking at it. Mevalone in California must be due any day, and is now LONG overdue. Again, huge potential in the USA market, especially if the label covers downy and powdery mildew. The insecticide COULD be announced any day, but I personally expect it around end of Q1/early Q2. I note you have previously stated that it could be sold in 2024 (as has Sean) to market, but again, personally I annticpate 2025 for sales, and probably a good few months beyond that for evidence of meaningful sales. Meanwhile, Label extensions and new regions continue to be added for existing products. Sean has slowly (and taken his sweet time about it), turned Eden from one product, on a weather dependent high value crop to multiple products on broad-acre and pivoted the company in a new and exciting direction. This is why I am now invested. I continue to add and buy as funds allow, but believe we still have time to add as the timeline in my opinion still has time to establish, but I think we agree, its now a matter of when and NOT if. This board is infested with an idiot troll, but I note even previous sceptics/critics of Eden are now more optimistic and as time progresses, I believe the share price will begin to climb. I hope your timeline is correct, but I'm happy to patient enough to wait for mine. good luck and DYOR. | ![]() kittybiscuits
06/1/2024 22:40 | KittyBiscuits All opinion of course, but once Mevalone California and the Insecticide deal is announced with regulatory submissions, all of which is about due, we should sail past 20p. So in my opinion, it should come sooner than you intimate. Eden share price is, in my opinion, very low for what is currently in place. I think the detail of the Insecticde deal(s) will be very interesting. 140 locations around the world. That has to be big in Eden terms relative to anything else it has done, right?! With Cedroz, Mevalone, Ecovelex and the soon to be announced Insecticide, there is loads of value for shareholders on massive multiples of today's share price. The investment community just needs to wise up to that, Eden needs to explain value properly and then it will be reflected in the share price. | ![]() investingisatrickygame |
