22/8/2021 16:38 | tanners.... but I'm not the utter moron who's sat by when 60% of the value of my """investment"""" has been wiped out by charlatans. YOU are. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha and ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! @ fluckwit ;D I'm nothing at all to do with "TW", BTW. But he called EDEN right. I'm going to be writing to KPMG factually challenging their "going concern" assumption. | neutralpov
22/8/2021 10:04 | NPOV....a not unexpected load of hot air and bluster that only serves to reinforce your status as charlatan non compare. Tadpole, Sheriff of Aim and lots of hahahas - now where I have seen all that before.... | tanners
21/8/2021 19:36 | Because I choose not to? Fools can trade in my wake, not ahead of me, which would make me the fool. But since you've been polite, and took pains to get "naive" right - the first rule is to steer clear of AIM in general. Footsie too, at least until the world settles down.. The 250 still has steam. After the fiasco of the last week, US stocks could be near top. Investing in PRC is fraught and the CCP is more than capable of pulling the rug from under even the largest institutionals and funds. There's no sheriff here in AIM, only a comatose, incompetent and often dimwitted irregulator. It needs dozens of sheriffs with loaded six-shooters, and if they occasionally get trigger happy, it'll still be better than the status quo. We need to shoot an Admiral or two from time to time, pour encourager les autres.... n'est ce pas? If only gold had fallen further faster, it would be viable. Still, money's gotta find a home. | neutralpov
20/8/2021 22:13 | NPOV - over 500 posts on a share you don't hold, not one post elsewhere (apparently), yet a self claimed portfolio of £20M, and you're whining that someone else has created a spamming account. So you want to save all the poor naïve punters, why not share some of the wisdom of your investments? | tanners
20/8/2021 16:10 | I wonder what the very few non-tadpole investors (e.g. UTs, InvTs) will have to say when questioned by their unitholders/members about their reasons for continuing to hold. Never fear - per PUGUGLY I'm a "Newbie". ;-D | neutralpov
20/8/2021 11:13 | NP - Filtered - Newbie - seems to have own axe to grind - Will only ufilter if undertakes real research on products and management - In particular sales and contracts - no sign of this in many multiples of posts. Personally have looked at company some years ago as can be checked out by my previous posts all 3 above areas ware weak. | pugugly
20/8/2021 09:58 | erinvale1 20 Aug '21 - 07:17 - 10552 > The BOD should be ashamed of themselves. Massive salaries bonuses and generous options despite truly appalling performance. No!! It is YOU who should be ashamed of yourself for your incredible blindness and folly. Confusing a corporate pension scheme for an investable company. FFS, did you go to school? What were your grades? | neutralpov
20/8/2021 07:17 | Investing: I sent Sean Smith three long messages detailing my concerns with Eden. None was even acknowledged, let alone responded to. The Corteva deal, while encouraging, is but the latest in a long string of deals going back many years. None of these has resulted in significant sales. I pointed out to Sean Smith that distribution deals, by themselves, do not (as the board appear to think) amount to sales - they are merely IOUs which, have no intrinsic value. Terminal decline: Eden is going nowhere. This will not to change until there is a sustainable sales stream. I agree that it is likely that someone capable of exploiting Eden’s IP will take the company out at around 5p. Given Eden has been in business for over 20 years, I would call this terminal decline. The BOD should be ashamed of themselves. Massive salaries bonuses and generous options despite truly appalling performance. | erinvale1
20/8/2021 00:01 | Erinvale1, Post 10546 'eden is in terminal decline' How do you come to that conclusion given the Corteva deal and value RNS'd? What was Sean's response to your opinion? | investingisatrickygame
19/8/2021 14:27 | Ok, this is my guess. Price will fall to 5p. At this point an offer will be made for the company at 30% over the last market price. The board will accept as their options are at 6p so will be in the money. Those who participated in the placing at 6p will accept as they get their money back. Who loses, retail investors holding for spurious tax breaks. Never be afraid of paying tax, it means you are making money. | ravenna23
19/8/2021 14:06 | Cat got your tongue, Cenkos? And where are the effin' "Financial PR" gurus? (chuckle) | neutralpov
19/8/2021 14:03 | I don't think it will fail, but will be bought out at a much lower price by a distributor like Corteva, to get the IP on the cheap. The question is when will the predators jump. I think the price is still too high. As I said worth a punt at the right price, but not right now. | ravenna23
19/8/2021 13:49 | Ravenna, I believe that Eden is in terminal decline. Sean Smith needs replacing with someone who is able to generate sales, rather pursuing his failed strategy of product development and spending money the company cannot afford on setting up a research laboratory. I have told Sean that, in my view, Eden will not last until the end of this year unless it shifts its focus to sales. Even then, its survival will be touch-and-go. Yet another micro cap run by incompetent management giving a masterclass in 'how not to do it'! | erinvale1
19/8/2021 13:36 | ravenna23 19 Aug '21 - 12:30 - 10544 > Ask price up a bit but not the bid. This is because of the 1.2m dump at 8p a few days ago. Market makers will want to shift these. I would not buy above 6p. Correction I would not buy until there have been major board changes. However if you are a punter, and can afford to lose your bet, a few quid at 5p might be worth it. Not an investment, treat it as you would a bet. I would not buy above 5p and that too not without resignations from the BoD and the institution of legal action by the company against these unmentionables. | neutralpov
