23/3/2018 10:59 | AttyG, perhaps the Universities Superannuation Scheme needs some cash to pay retiring vice chancellors their ridiculously high pensions (their pension scheme is supposed to be in a spot of bother)! They crossed below 3% about five years ago, so we won't be told if they have sold any more. | weyweyumfozo

23/3/2018 10:24 | There must be an optimal time for investing in EDEN and we must be near to it. I have, for my sins, a position in RED, and see similar factors at play, with the renewable storage market about to explode. Likewise at SYM, though this share has started to respond powerfully to the plastics story. I can't see what's not to like about EDEN, though the share price seems to be telling another story. If ever there was a sector deserving to set on fire by the worldwide environmental alarm bells, this would be it. I simply don't understand, when it has cash, partners, IP, and growing international revenues. Will a bell sound when the absolute moment has come? I doubt it. Currently I have no position here, but I thin as/if/where the share price sinks to the 5 year low at 7p, this could be somebody's pension. | brucie5
23/3/2018 10:06 | Initially down a little due to general market mark down on possible trade wars, but perhaps down further due to someone wanting to bail out? There will always be a reason to sell - demands for cash, stale bulls too impatient and finding a "better" opportunity elsewhere. However, even for those who have been beaten down by the delays of product launches / approvals etc it is difficult not to view this share as anything other than a buy. The language in the prelims is quite tempered, but nevertheless, the opportunity is clear. I am amazed the BoD have not made more of the additional £0.5m licence / milestone fees. NDAs may restrict sensitive commercial details, but surely we could be told more than what is contained in the prelims? These are an obvious precursor to future sustainable repeatable revenues. Furthermore, it is clear that theses future revenue streams will not only come from 3AEY. Strikes me the pendulum has swung too far, time to swing too far the other way. It is also worth noting the company beat the trading statement estimate in January by £100k - times have changed - the BoD are under-promising and over-delivering. Well done and congratulations due to the BoD. | attyg
